Beautiful People 5 Jude

HEY THERE ARE MORE JUDES AND FRIENDS IN A POST BELOW THIS'N!

I had a little trouble with this guy. Here's the first drawing I did of Jude Law and his bitch.
I just did it freehand and didn't have a plan or analysis of his head when I did it.
In the next drawing I noticed a couple odd things about his head:
1) It's diamond shaped.
2) the upper half of the diamond is smaller than the bottom. His head comes to a point at top.
This one is sort of realistic.
I'm gonna post more in a bit. See if you can guess who the other folks are with him.
Can any of YOU draw Jude's perfect head?

I'm hoping Katie Rice takes this challenge up to. She's been hinting that she wants to start drawing guys and I can't wait.

I want to see her version of George Liquor. How many of you would like that?

Who is that beast next to the woman in the really short hair?

I love how you handle hairy people with all the stray hairs curling out. I saw a Justin Timberlake you did on Katie's blog that was hilarious too.

John, do you have any recent drawings of just random characters and crazy stuff from your imagination? I'd love to see some of that too.

I'd love to see Katie's version of George Liquor. Could be very interesting.

Speaking of George Liquor, are there any plans to do anything with the old web cartoons that were done? I've managed to find them all I think, but I think it'd be an awesome inclusion on a DVD or something like that.

Does anyone know where to find George Liquor and the other webtoons John K. did on the web? I haven't seen these webtoons in well over 5 years. I just watched boo boo and the man and father son day over at cartoon network and they were hysterical. I wish a DVD of all the webtoons would be released.

John, these are so great. I want to see Katie's too. She's amazing, but she should post more often in her blog. It would attract a lot more visitors. I say we all get together and go there to harass her.

I gave it a shot, he's tough. Rather than a diamond shape, the upside-down teardrop seemed to work kinda well.

Behold my attempt!

John makes it look so easy, especially in the other post.

Wellp, here's my go at it.

Right here

I would like to see Katie's version of Jude, George and the entire kingdom of man. Her drawings seem really unrestrained which works really well for girls, since they're so curvy and flowy, and I'd like to see how it translates into boy forms!

i have actually drawn him a few times, but i doubt those drawing still exist...ill draw him up and post the pic, and could someone tell me how to or direct me to the instructions on how to insert a link into the post

I remember asking Katie if she could draw guys on her blog a few days ago. But the idea could've come from anywhere.

Either way, I look forward to seeing them.

The commentaries crack me up, man! I think the second Jude from the top really captures him the best. Those elfin eyes!

I always thought attractive people were the hardest to caricature but now I see I'm all turned around on the subject.

This blog beats my crappy graphic design school education!

Hi Mr. K, one of the things I love the most about you is your obsession with celebrities; or do you do that just for us cause we love it??

I would love to see katie rice draw Sienna Miller!!!!!!!!!!
She drawl da girlz so weel.

The first attempt is still excellent. I recognized who it was right away.. I think I like that one the most because I've always found Jude Law to be kind of creepy. That first sketch catches those creepy eyes pretty well..

Another great batch John. You've really done a number on Jude law here and I love seeing all of the variations. I also find Owen Wilson and his Dong nose to be especially hilarious.

Anyway... here's my crack at Mr. Law

And of course we'd like to see a Katie George.

My attempt is on my blog, John. Check it out. http://dmgermain.blogspot.com/

I tried to capture his messy-type hair but it came out sort of looking like Yu-Gi-Oh or something. Before you say it: no I'm NOT one of those young artists that tries to copy anime. I have traditional skills dammit.

Anyway, it's up there for your perusal. Tell me what you like or don't like about it.

Oh yeah! I almost forgot my message to this person.

Hey, you know what. It's not just John, we're ALL doing it. So you're going to have to sue each and every one of us one at a time. Is anyone rich enough to afford that many lawyers? (except for O.J. c. 1994)
But, if this is all a sarcastic joke, well played sir/madam/harddrive/whatever.

Jude Law said...

Of course it's a sarcastic joke!
I'm too bloody famous to be starin' at these drawrings of me!
I'm a brilliant actor! Brilliant!

Apart from Jude & Sienna, I see Meg Matthews (Noel Gallaghers ex) & the big chinned lady reminds me of the mum from Bend it Like Beckham?

Maybe if Katie did George Liquor in drag, that would get her started. It's not that she can't draw guys, it's more that she doesn't want to. Darn! Maybe some cowboys in drag, like that movie? Keep on her.
