I agree. Pitt and Hanks had me laughing out loud. Ricci took a second, but it's definately Ricci (not Madonna). Parker's pegged that horse-face quality she has.
I thought the first one was yet another Reese slamjob! Not that I mind.
The Gwyneth really captures her patrician grotesqueness, and the texture on the Tom Hanks hair is weird.
I have to admire anyone who'd poke fun at Everyone's Favorite Hollywood Bigshot Back-to-Back Academy Award Winner.
The nose on the Sarah Jessica Parker is hilarious! And I like the bloopy Brad Pitt face... and he is turning bloopy. I saw "A River Runs Through It" not long ago and then these recent pictures of him.
I love the Tom Hanks one. My, hasn't his face changed since Bosom Buddies? I also think that Brad's signature feature (facial) is his nose (esp his nostrils).
SJP she's just so fun to draw! Her nose is a highway to places unknown.
Damn these are good...I can tell you do them fast too. Damn it, I got to get more exagerated! My friends tell me I have some very wacked out cartoons, but I really don't think so...most my exagerations are based on cliches that I got in my head from admiring your's, Chuck Jones, and Bob Clampett's cartoons. Exagerating people and things from real life is so much harder, and you seem to do it relentlessly and with such ease! What sort of advise would you give someone who's REALLY struggling to get some major exageration out of there caricatures and drawings?
the tom hanks one is the best!! love his hair line thing. lol... sarah jessica parker is great too! she's been askin' for it since day one if you ask me. the perfect face to caricaturize! sexy in a wonky kinda way. nice job john!
What is your opinion on the work Danny Antonucci? He seems to be one of the few other "cartoon purists" out there as Ed, Edd, & Eddy is the last network cartoon to be entirely hand drawn and colored using traditional cel-painting methods.
Also, do you think that the shift from traditional production techniques to the newer digital methods has hurt the animation industry in any concievable way? or is the change "invisible" in the end, meaning that the change in production techniques shouldn't affect anything and the responsibility for a good cartoon rests soley on the people involved in it's production?

Love the tom hanks! :)
New York Bathrooms
Ricci, Parker, don't know the next two, then Pitt and Hanks.
Not sure if you wanted us to guess.
But they're all great by the way.
That first one looks like Madonna with her hair slicked back about to tell a joke that only she thinks is funny.
That's a great Brad Pitt though. I'm sure Ms. Aniston would print that out, blow it up 10 times it's size and throw bricks at it. ;)
the first one is greasy resse whiterspoon right?
christina aguilera & gwyneth paltrow in the 3rd one?
Christina Ricci
Sarah jessica parker
Christina Agulara (?)
gweneth paltrow
(..and the last page is worth a 100 bones, easy)
Tom Hanks

But Hanks and Pitt. GENIUS!!

You have a way with Hanks.
It's curious how there are some faces it's much easier to get a sturdy hold of and make funny in a zillion ways.
Tom Hanks looks a lot more like a potato in middle age than I might have expected him to when he was young.
my favorite of this set is Gwynneth, with that silly grin...and the teeth.
but WOW what a nose on that Sarah Jessica! haha.
Wow, that Tom Hanks is repulsive...in an awesome way.

Bloopy City.
I love the Tom

The first one looks like Anthony Hopkins in drag.
Hats off to a person that can draw Brad Pitt and make him look far from perfect.
P.S. Is it just me or is he always eating/chewing something in his movies (probably to look better)?
Tom Hanks is looking so old! He was jowl-rific during the Oscars...
And Sarah J Parker looks awesomely grotesque...but she's freaky looking to begin with so it must have been fun to draw. :P
I dont think you made Sarah Jessica Parker's face long enough.
But seriously, she could play Mr. Horse in the Ren and Stimpy live action movie.
These were hilarious.
Question:
Is this how you see people in real life? Cause if it is, I'd love to get a pair of John K. glasses and laugh my ass off all day.

I'm THRILLED to have found this blog! Very nice one of Tom haha.
Aimee draws a great SJP too!
I agree wiht everyone else in this thread, except for #1 and #3. Here's mine:
1. Charlize Theron
2. Sarah Jessica Parker
3. Gwenith Paltrow, Hilary Duff
4. Tom Hanks, Brad Pitt
Wai, maybe that IS Christina Aguilera.
I think SJP would honestly kill herself if she saw that picture. I bet thats how she looks in her worst nightmare. And i love it.

john you are the man
John,
Per your ad on Craig's list, there might be some financiers interested in your projects.
What's the best way to contact you?

That Tom Hanks is brilliant - I don't know why but I see a tiny bit of Sven Hoek in there.
Your Sarah Jessica Parker's nose reminds me of Stinky's from Peter Bagge's Hate.
The Tom Hanks and Brad Pitt drawing is fantastic!
Hey John,
I just replied to you but my e-mail got bounced back. Something about "...is not accepting mail from this sender 550."

Gimme a question. Not too hard! I'm simple.
wickedly delicious, particularly the horsey one.

hey John did you work on a project with Matt Groening?
I didn't recognize any of these except for Sarah Jessica Parker. Which makes them all the more hilarious.
The top one looks like Johnny Depp more than anything.

lyris you have sven on the brain! too many hours of retouching it haha.
Gosh, they mostly look like Barbra Striesand to me!
That Brad Pitt looks like a concept drawing for a "Brad Pitt visits the Thunderbirds" puppet.
Hi John,
Are you going to do that Clampett post?
your friend,
Andrea
I thought that was a picture of Arnold. I can see it's Brad Pitt now.
