JB and KG, 6

Sorry I haven't said much in the last posts and haven't put up much variety. I'm busy on a music video. I'll put up more animals soon and some Chuck Jones scenes with an explanation of what makes a good layout: How to compose characters and backgrounds together. Jones was the best ever at this, I think.

I can't wait to see more of Kyle's butt! I also like their Flintstones legs.

Jack's head is jaggedy but Kyle's is as smooth and round as a spritely babe. Did you study his head shape one on one?

what is it about cartoon butts that make me laugh out loud?! great stuff john! can't wait to see more. there's not enough butt slappin' or butt showin' in cartoons nowadays. i volunteered at the ASIFA Animation Archive this past saturday and i saw a Harman-Ising cartoon with some good butt-slappin' action. good times!

I don't even want to know what that last picture is about. ;)

Incidently, will this sequence with JB and KG just be a white background or is there a layout planned?

Should we be expecting a good Ol' fashioned funny cartoon "butt-stab" here or will you invent a whole new hilarious brand of cartoon ass-sport when things play out in the following poses.

The world is dying to know...

Too many posts about this topic. More stills of KG and JB are just making me bored with the project... I'd rather just have a taste of what's to come so that I'm excited for the finished product. I'd rather see something different at this point.

Hey, payin' work takes precedence over babbling on the Internet. I've been enjoying seeing these interspersed with the other stuff I read all this past week.

Mm. The last bit of animation I did for myself, I completely forgot to compose the bg around the character, and I came to regret it!

Feh, it's cool. The TD stuff you have up is good stuff. I did discover a funny cartoon cat by Richard Williams on YouTube. You have to slog through some other stuff. It's a commercial for Long Life beer.
Here's the link.

Nice poses and expressions! I love that last shot with Kyle sticking his butt out! I can just imagine a face appearing on Kyle's butt saying, "Come on, Jack. Slap me. You know you want to".

Or, "Quick man, cling Tenacious D to my buttocks!"

John,
I love your blog and the stuff you post, but if the reason you don't say much or put up more variety is that you're busy working on a new cartoon or music video for us, then that's a damn good excuse!

KG's face in the last picture is amazing! Are you making the backgrounds, or is someone else? Or is there just no backgrounds at all?

Well, hey John McGrew, Robert Gribroek and Maurice Noble did their parts too.

John,
How, what or who was responsible of the decay of creativity of cartoon animation?
