First i thought 'Wowza! An animated .gif' Then I realised I just scrolled down really suddenly.
the impoortant thing is you created the illusion of life with a mere two images, which can only mean one thing...

...I...

Am very sleep deprived right now...

Why is that rabbit chick having a conniption? What is this for? Is this part of the Tenacious-D stuff?

Whatever... it's super cool. I'm enjoying the roughs in the recent posts! The lines... they're alive! Alive!

Love the gorilla. What's the sheep-looking animal supposed to be?

Jack Ruttan said...

Giraffe boobies?

Hi John

Those are WAY-COOL designs!

I love the giraffe with the hooters sticking out and that gorilla reminds me of a character from an episode of The Ripping Friends.

Hey John, and everyone:

Did you see the rejected Plastic Man pilot for warner bros? It's actually very cartoony and fun, and Plastic Man has a lot of different looks and styles and expressions throughout the whole thing. There's also some VERY Ren and Stimpy influenced stuff, especially the big laughing fit freak out he has halfway through...

That Giraffe/Sheep/Goat/whatever the heck it is with the boobs freaks me the hell out.

The rabbit girl still rocks, though.

HAHA! Those titties crack me up! Such imagination in these drawings. Makes me wanna jump outta my seat.

Muwahahahaha! Where to begin with such wacky fun drawings...

Obviously you knwo the importance and comdey behind such things as "old-fashioned metal flip-swith nipples" and "soggy sock tits" Thise need to be in the cartoony cartoon vocab section right after one of my other favorites... "udder hands"

Aside from that I must say that the Katie-esque rabbit character is a natural star! It's obviosu to see that you really know and love that character John. I can see all sorts of outside potential for that character just from these few small glimpses.

This cartoon is going to be oh so much fun to behold up there on the big screen.

Again i must say how much more I love seeing those rough sketches than seeing cleaned up stuff!

Yeah. for me that's the shortcoming CG can never overcome. Nothing can ever remain the least bit rough.

The first two drawings are my favorites. The tits on the sheep seem to have ideas of their own.

i like the lobster (and the dragon in the previous post)

More Katie Bunny, nice!

:-P

Jack Ruttan said...

Oh, sorry, they are sheep boobies after all. I had also guessed the Loch Ness Monster wearing a fleecy, but that doesn't mean it's not a fun drawing.

Hilarious animals! If only you could buy cels from this film!

I think that John should give the female rabbit the name "Katie Rabbit"

k9_kaos said...

I love that cute bunny character! Was she inspired by Katie Rice? Does she have a name? I'd love to see her animated.

Hey John,

Really liked the Hippo in the last crowd post - thought I would ink and colour it up!

while displaying the mammaries on animals is definitely different, i think starring a mudskipper in his own tv show was way more progressive, especially since it's not an ordinary animal like a dog or gorilla. a lobster is a step up. a tortoise is even better. but hows about an axolotl in the crowd? that would be completely novel. i posted a few on my site, if you don't know what that is.

thanks,
diana

Hi Diana,

I have a character named Andy Axolotl! He never reaches puberty, yet reproduces anyway.
