The look on that cowboys face in the bottom picture made me laugh out loud! I can't remember the last time I saw actual funny drawings in a cartoon on TV, well not since Ren and Stimpy anyway.
I agree 100% with David, including the Ren & Stimpy comment. This stuff was funny 40 years ago and it's still funny now What the hell being made today will still be funny in 40 years?
Hilarious clip. I laughed so hard at the Cowboy:"You must be a stranger in these parts" RR: Why do you say that? C:You are very strange looking.
The timing and voice acting on that, along with the funny drawings makes for a good belly laugh moment.
One of the best moments in Comic-Con 2006 came when I went to the screening of "Teen Titans in Tokyo" and the crew from Batman was hyping the new season of Batman, and a little kid, no more than 8 years old asked "Why are you making another season?" and they asked him "Do you like batman?" He says "Yes, but why are you making more?" The room erupted in laughter. Out of the mouths of babes... I would bet if he saw Roger Ramjet he would scream "More more more!"
Man , I love all the Roger Ramjet cartoon clips you've been showing us. They're just incredibly funny. This is pretty much the only limited animated cartoon that's actually made me laugh out loud. I remember you mentioning this show in an interview somewhere and I tried to remember where I've seen or heard of it, but really I've never heard of it until you showed us these clips. I should definitely get these episodes!
They keep doing more Batman cause it's got a guaranteed audience and they can't come up with anything else, even with a big bunch of development execs. They're taking ideas for a "new" take on Batman now (as long as it uses the same model sheets as the old one, to save money).
Best Easter present ever! Blew the soda right thru my nostrils! I have to put that on a tee shirt "You must be a stranger in this town - you're very strange looking!"

that's the funniest RR clip yet!
Yeah, I can't figure out who drew what on Ramjet cartoons. I can see when someone else starts drawing.
Does any drawings remain from the show? That might help.
Just guessing.
I can't stop playing that clip!

That was a funny clip! Great stuff -- I have the Roger Ramjet DVDs and they are hysterical!
Hey John, what ever happen to the JB and KG toys you were making?

That cowboy reminds me Tomi Ungerer's great style.
