Amazing nasel abuse animation like this is nothing to sneeze at--sorry for the bad pun ;)
Poor Barney is likely now suffering from poked nasal drip...
Nice. A few of the drawings from the first set of screen grabs look very reminiscent of a similar piece of business from Disney's Snow White (animated by Fred Moore). Fred Moore Drawings
Awesome. If people in real life pissed you off and had those massive protruding (and spongelike) noses - it would have to be difficult to not want to twist 'em like that! Who could resist?Look how much Fred enjoys his violent act ... easy there, Freddie!
noseplay is the best play, i always say. i laughed out loud!
Those noses are just like rubber! I'm surprised that there aren't any nose bleeds anywhere...Very funny indeed.
Nasel abuse by someone who NOSE how to do it right!
holy christ that looks painful! The sixth picture down espeicially. I have to say that out of context Fred looks like a real jerk in these.
Oh...the fifth picture is amazing.
You're the best John. Your liner notes for the Flintstones Laser Disc Box Set still make me laugh! Rock on.
Man, the inking is beautiful!
Grumpy had the biggest nose out of all the dwarves, which would explain the bit where it gets stuck in a tree! XD
>>If people in real life pissed you off and had those massive protruding (and spongelike) noses - it would have to be difficult to not want to twist 'em like that! Who could resist?<<That's so true. You just want to reach out and squeeze.
Johnny K., Jesus! I recognize these scenes animated by the legendary Carlo Vinci! They're from the episode At the Races, which's from the first season from The Flintstones (Hanna-Barbera/Columbia Pictures, 1960-66). Alias, the skinny guy (who Fred squeezes and twists his nose [a brilliant slapstick trick]) doesn't look like the late actor/voice actor Charles Nelson Reilly (Mrs. Muir and The Ghost, The X-Files, Frank Frankenstone's voice in The Flinstones Comedy Show [in the USA]/Flintstones' Frolics [in the international markets])? Now I'm curious. Rodinei Campos da Silveira (from São Paulo, Brazil) IN MEMORIAN OF WILLIAM HANNA & JOSEPH BARBERA :-)
Fred yelling with the skinny guy in the episode At the Races from the 1st season of The Flintstones made remind me of some stuff which came into my mind: - Sarge Snorkel yelling with Beetle on the Beetle Bailey comic strip (due to the Mort Walker's modern design on this strip);- and Lucy yelling with Snoopy on the Charles Schulz's Peanuts comic strip. Another detail which we cannot forget: the layout on this Flintstones episode was made by Dick "Bick" Bickenbach.
