Classical George

An archaeological treasure has been unearthed!
Here is an ancient work by the Periclean sculptor Adrian.
Note that the ideal Greek man is remarkably similar to today's last true American.
How many men would love to have such a perfect build as this? And how many women want to squeeze one?
By the way, that's a towel he is holding.

Here are all the posts on Spumco toys so far:

LOL! I love the expression on his face! I would buy it on the first day it comes out! Maybe even pre-order it on Amazon!

Unrelated to this post: Could you post some more George Liquor stories on this blog, and maybe even some new comics? Not for pitching, but I just love reading that series.

Yeah, I'm seeing his weiner too. Glad you clarified it's a towel. Because I would totally have thought it was his todger. His lad. His john thomas. You know, his penis.

George is definitely the Goliath to Michelangelo's David, if you know what I'm saying.
But of course, that is a towel... right?

I like that, it's erotically suggestive yet ambiguous. More homoeroticism in cartoon sculpture I say! That's what the greeks liked anyway.

The people who make these have skills that leave me agape.

When I saw 'Adrian' I thought of Rocky Balboa's wife Adrian sitting at home and making these on the quiet while Rocky was out doing some boxing.

Thanks for explaining the towel.

On a side note - a Taiwanese girl that I work with had never seen a Looney Tunes cartoon before today. I showed her Rabbit Fire.

She laughed out loud and was impressed. I think I may have started something. Now to show her the Great Piggy Bank Robbery.

I'd like to make a request-- I'd like to see you put out one of those little rubber mask things that you put your fingers in the back of, and make it make funny faces. I've been wanting to get one of those again, and George Liquor would be a great subject. Hell, those things are total squash and stretch!

Nah - what do I need a toy of that for? I've got the real thing!

Your last line- are you refering to your user name, or all the talk of George' "towel"?

So Chloe, is this a loop of irony?
