They're big, they're heavy, they're wood!

I'll betcha I've been in one of those houses. They look like many of the houses up in the Poconos the Thompson family used to inhabit.

Lake Naomi for the win!!!

Those are soooooooo cool!! I'd like to live in a house like this when I become an adult. But who the hell is Rex?

Rex Hackleberg?

My guess, Taco, is Rex is ahead of all of us in the George Liqour story ( he's very talented and John showed us his George storyboard a while ago ), and a log cabin is the ideal setting for a man's man like George.

Course I'm just guessin'.

Meanwhile, I need to download the rest of the manuals, because I thought I had them all, but there's pages missing.

John, I'm gonna make a little attempt to make a caricaturization this great wilderness. This is pretty tough, but I love having fun with backgrounds and such. I'll post some of my attempts up tomorrow, or on the weekend. I'll really try to impress you!

God I love this manly setting though. Two things I think are great, 50's and 60's "100% American Homes" which are just greatand the Great Wilderness! You know! All that great MANLY stuff!

Hey John,

I'm assuming you can't afford to relocate someone...are you willing to work long distance? Not saying that I'm qualified, necessarily, but as a matter of curiosity.

Jim Smith can!
I know, that isn't what you mean.

Hi John

Backgrounds are coming. In the meantime, since you mentioned vehicles, here is a concept for

I can cartoon that kind of stuff fairly well, to a wide variety of styles. I've been particularly experimenting with specialized methods of applying the mark, to further customize the appearance of a given style. When you say "wonky" you mean you want it stylized and entertaining, while still maintaining a high level of clarity, right? I could assemble a small collection of backdrops and scenery, if you'd be willing to take a look at what I can do. But if it just gets posted and never seen, I'm not sure if it'll be worth the effort. I've been trying to draw your characters too, but just drawing them straight the way you do is... Frankly, boring. So my drawings of the characters keep on coming out all bent and weird. I had one drawing of George's top jaw flopped back, with his tongue pointing straight up in the air, with an American flag tied to it. His teeth were sticking out at odd angles to each other. It kind of creeped me out... I'm rambling on someone else's blog.
