This is a commercial I would be happy to see.
Oh the humanity!Great stuff John....I really love the breakfast roughs.Keep em coming.Jason.
These are hilarious! Are they supposed to be paper puppets with all of those hinges?
Is this a commercial for a new car? or part of the cartoon?George liqour should be the kind of guy who flat out refuses to drive a jap car made out of recycled soda bottles...I always picture him driving a real american car with fins like a 59 buick or dodge custom royal...a bid stylish american land yacht.people drive new cars & suvs that get similar or worse mileage as a 318 powered 1958 Plymouth. The answer isnt for everyone to drive wind up toy sensitive pontail man cars, gas needs to come down in price so people can drive real cars again.
No, they should just make more man car hybrids and develop modern eco-friendly infrastructures that can be placed in older cars. Wouldn't it be great if you could save your retro muscle car (i.e. Ford Mustang) by installing a new hybrid engine? The whole idea makes me think of Dr. Brown's converted Delorean from Back to the Future. I heard that this service is available, but it hasn't gone mainstream yet.So yeah, that frustrated owner of that poor faithful gas guzzler shouldn't shoot his car. He should have it converted instead:)
Damn, I sure hope it was you that got that GM deal for 30 minutes of content. Looks like you did.
@Soleilsmile: I think you're confused as to what "muscle" means in this context. I'm pretty sure hybrid engines aren't there yet. Also, are people just not understanding that the show's being sponsored by Pontiac Vibe? I think John's doing good by his sponsors here. It would be pretty crappy of him to have the main character ridicule the idea driving a fuel efficient car. Besides, George is a practical man. He buys unlabeled cans, he drives a Vibe. Same difference.
Hi Chris!I was referring to Jim Rockford's comments. He's nostalgic for mid-20th century domestic cars--unless I misinterpreted his comment.Believe me, I love and encourage the idea of fuel efficient cars. It's the mantra of my clique. I'm one of those San Francisco hippie/Bohemians that John loves to rant about.
That's right ! Kill that gas guzzler !
