If hoping your problems away doesn't work, then try the other method: Blow 'em away!

McCain and Obama were sculpted by Chris Peterson. Hillary sculpted by Arshak Nazarian. All color styled and painted by Beth Colla. Castings by Richard Vanover at Wheaty Wheat.
They were manufactured by Reel FX. They are rounding up distributors at this very moment so add yourself on the list if you want to get 'em in your stores!
Wait'll you see the fancy-ass packaging Brian Romero is designing! I'll post 'em later this week.

Chris is busy sculpting my latest batch of toys - George Liquor, Sody Pop, Jimmy the Idiot Boy and Cigarettes the Cat for Strangeco.

Wow these are even better then I imangend. Those colors really ads allot.
I will run to the store and buy 'em. The whole set!
Will they be sold seperately, no matter, they are ALL MINE,mine!!
These look great, I especially like the Tenacious D guys.
Kyle Glass looks adorable!
The Barack one looks like it would also make a great PEZ dispenser. Especially if you could get him to bend backward.
beautiful
those are really amazing!
Where are you planning an selling these? Any retailers picked out or is it going to be from your gallery? I'll certainly get the political ones XD
Wow, these are gorgeous. Great work!
These look fantastic!
I wish the tenacious D guys where fully clothed though. I'm not a fan of Jack and Kyle's naked rears.
Hilary is already irrelevant.
Those are amazing! I hope you're planning on selling them online too, because we don't a ton of comic shops around here. Are the Tenacious D toys already out of production? I've been looking forward to buying them since you first posted the sketches! I just don't remember you saying they were actually on sale.
But yeah, I'd run out to my nearest toy store and buy every toy there!
The Tenacious D toys are my favorite, followed by McCain, but they're all great.
Josh Heisie
I will buy every character. Make them.
Great Work !!!

I shall have at least one, oh yes!
But one, I'm a Barack supporter, but I still think you were much too kind to him compared to the other two in the design.
Wow! I certainly see the 60's toys influence on the "D".
Cool toys, I 'll collect them all!
Say, how about a set of "Flight Of The Conchords" figures too!
I'll take one!!
Are you gonna use any of the jokes we submitted for the box?

These are totally awesome.
Wow! That Barrack statue turned out great. I hope he uses it in his campaign somehow.
It's certainly miles ahead of those "Obama is my slave" T-shirts. Have you seen those?
Bwaa ha ha, funny stuff.
Did anyone else notice Hilary's felt suit?
These are incredible but they would be way better if they doubled as shampoo bottles.
Those are beautiful fannies.
I will buy them all!!!
The real Hillary Clinton looks like Ronald McDonald without make-up...
I'll run to the store to get a sody.
Brad, if Obama's podium is the same as it was in the drawing, it says "WISH" on the other side, which is genius satire.
And anyway, Obama is the best looking of the three in real life. Caricatures I've seen that try to make him look bad end up being abstract and unrecognizable because they are putting things that aren't there into Obama's face instead of exaggerating what they're given. The guy is good-looking, or at least pretty normal looking, so a caricature that's grotesque (like John McCain's, since he's kind of grotesque in real life) wouldn't be Obama.
In that scene Sody, I always felt she shoulda propelled George Liguor a good 30 feet across the room and through few a walls with her hips. Perhaps there can be a gags throughout the series where Sody defends her love for Jimmy in highly effective and hilarious ways. All with that dippy smile on her face of course!
Man, i'd love to see this scene in toy form! And yes.. if my local comic store gets them and i have the money, they will be mine! Who could resist having something so awesome on their table?
these are FANTASTIC john. I will buy them!!!!!
They are all great but I'd definitely get Hillary and the D first. hooray for toy butts!
Wonderful toys, can't wait to see Jimmy, George, Sody and the Cat!
nice
I'll definitely buy them!
Hey John,
I know this is going back in time a bit, but when are the realistic Sody Pop dolls coming out? I remember in an interview you joked that the tits would feel real and if you touched them, the doll would say, "My father's a cop".
You know all us lonely ( and even hitched ) guys would snatch those right up! Too expensive to make, I gather?

Where is your Ron Paul toy?
Overall, awesome. Obama, Clinton, and Jack Black are my favorites. I'd buy the Kyle and KG ones.
I don't get John McCain's expression. His eyes seem to be saying something different than his mouth. I dunno about the black on his eyebrows... it looks like a second pair of eyes in the picture.
why do the Tenacious D figurines only have half their clothes on? or is this somehting that outs me as not a fan?
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, God...
let the far side of Barack's podium say "REPARATIONS".
They'll look great next to my George Liquor 'Squeezable Man'
DO WANT!!!
Love these. You have to make Palin, Biden, President Clinton and Bush Jr. to complete the set. Palin and Biden are a must.
You have to put out Biden, Palin, President Clinton and Bush Jr. At the very least Biden and Palin. Wave 2 perhaps?
