Whoa, it's like you can read minds. I was just wondering why do they always illustrate reindeer with dog noses when their muzzles look more similar to cows' and if Rudolph the rednosed reindeer would actually be possible. Why are so many animals drawn with dog noses when they don't have one?
Why do they call it "Duckburg" when Scrooge and his nephews are the only ducks and everyone else is dogs, I mean come on. Maybe it's 'cause the richest person in town is a duck, and that's what matters.
Ha, haaaaa! Yes, this was a bafflement when I was a child all those people with dog noses and dangly ears..soon accepted it though and just enjoyed the ride.
When I was a kid I always figured the dog-nosed people were dogs. It did weird me out a time or two, but I didn't dwell on it too much. Barks stories were always so much fun that nothing about them ever really bothered me.

Barks is my favorite comic book maker ever.
You might find plenty to criticize in his style, but his books are pure fun to me.
I hope this is about Carl Barks and not more stuff about how crummy Canadian animation is.
'Course, beggars can't be choosy!

Hi John,
May I please request a critique of one of my copies?

Carl Barks=Genius
I hope this post could help me to understand that old paradox of Goofy bein' (or looking like) a dog and having a dog as a pet. ;)
Ever notice that in cartoons, the animals who don't wear pants are mostly short ?
