I love Don Martin! Looking forward to hearing your take on his style.
I have all of Don Martin's paperbacks but can't bring myself to crack the spines and scan them for my site. It took forever to track them down. Same thing with my Jules Feiffer paperbacks. Thanks to you for posting them. Maybe I'll get the balls one day. ComiCrazys
Yep, looking forward to what you have to say.First time I encountered Don Martin (I was a really young kid), his stuff totally freaked me. But I couldn't stop reading it!
I had the privilege of writing for Don years ago. While we never met in person, we did communicate by phone. My initial expectation was that he'd have a loud, over-the-top personality, but it was just the opposite. He was a very quiet, reserved person- a true gentleman. I'm glad to say that I knew him and that his work lives on.
I love Don Martin's stuff. I saw a book in Borders a month ago or so but it cost about 180 or something. I'm saving up for it, though. He has such an inspiration style, and is so creative. Great pacing and timing!
