Cool drawings John, so are you saying that you all drew these layouts collectively(all working on the same drawing)? or is each layout drawn by a different person?
Every single one of the Bastard drawings made me laugh. I've been trying to pick apart WHY he's funny, because he reminded me of someone or something I've seen before. I finally figured it out... A DOG!!
Besides the back shot, all the other shots of Donald remind me of how dogs behave (the tongue helps as well). I can't really describe it, but part of it is that he's smaller and looks up at slab and ernie half expecting them to know what he's thinking...
Which is the other really funny part. I don't know what he's going to do next! I'm guessing by the drawings that he bites one of em. He reminds me of the REALLY old Clampett daffy in that way. Daffy usually only had googly eyes and a big grin, so you never knew exactly when he was about to start bouncing around going 'woo woo!'

I love it when you show the storyboards and the layouts in comparison, John! Thanks!
Can you explain what some of the notes and scene numberings mean?
- trevor.
Great stuff! I can't wait to ink it someday!
This layouts show how animation is a true team work. You can't find things like that these days! Great work you four! You got my admirations!
So cool! A look into storyboards. I'm really curious about animation. I like the funny notes/lines besides the storyboards--"web-footed".
Does this mean you are back working on a George Liquor show?
I'd like to see it!
It takes a community.I want to see it animated someday.
The perspective looks off in the sixth picture. Am I right?
That first picture of Donald Bastard, standing on the doorstep glowering, is screamingly funny to me even without any context.
these are awesome!

hehe the eyeball coming out slightly before the rest of the head is a cool breakdown.
So, if I'm understanding the notes correctly, Ernie's facial features aren't supposed to be drawn with hard corners.
Is there a reason for this? Or is it purely aesthetic?

And just like the classics you've been showing and teaching everyone - you can begin to pick out what artist did what layouts. :)
