Eddie is right, Jim makes volume funny!
HAHA!..."ROTUND enough"...i had a good laugh over that
Cool stuff! Jim's layouts make you want to wander on in. I can't wait to see how it ends.It seems like there's still room to push that sissy, though. He seems more of a nerd than Mommy's little princess. Do they still publish Little Audrey comics? If I ruled network Standards & Practices, every tenth kid would have to be a flaming sissy. It only seems fair.
I laughed so hard at the mashed potatoes jokes. Nothing like glycemic index humour.I bet Bobby has low testosterone!
Bobby ? I thought his name was Billy ?
I love the lettering. What font is that?
That Neighborhood Sissy character is a riot... and so is the joke about hoping to be a comic book writer if he can get rotund enough! Hilarious, but it seems the really rotund ones are the comic book store owners, like the one on the Simpsons (no groaning in my store).
I have a feeling there is going to be a massacre at the comic book store. No sissy spared. The composition on page 4 pulls my eye around from Slab N Ernie to the right house (points up) then to the bottom left to the fence (the negative space above the fence and right of the tree points bottom left) back to Slab N Ernie. The panel below it has a vanishing point at Slab. The whole composition is pointing towards them.
HIIknos rhis comment doesn' belong here, but I just want to tell you, in case you don't know, on the passing away of Bob Arbogast.
Great Concept. Great Blog. I've only just started but your production of fine posts and analysis' of animation is a benchmark. I crawl in your honour. Crush me!
