Very very cute! They should be on a shirt ;)
Those poodle drawings are like a fab-tabulous mix of Theodore Geisle (I see it in the eyes), Robert Clampett (it's in the acting), and Charles M. Jones (it's in the technical excellence). That's a good pool of influence.
I want to eat the poodle's fleece.
I like this very much, and I am commenting again to show this.
So wait, is this new animation? For a short?I have to agree with Kali and the others - that poodle character is just killin' me!! hahaw!!I can almost hear the music as the poodle is prancing about - can't remember the name of the song, but it's the song that plays when Daffy Duck is frantically trying to get the egg back in "The Henpecked Duck." You know, when he keeps saying "Alacazam, flim-flam, etc" - that is one of my all-time favorite cartoons! John you should do a piece on it some day, that is such a classic...
I LOVED the Old Navy spots (especially the Flares one). Pretty sure I bought a pair of them.I really like Roxy. She's so cute and appealing. And the poodle still cracks me up.
A fan of the poodle... Imagined the sequence with music also. "dance of the sugar plum fairies". Can't remember if there was music on the commercial.
'I LOVED the Old Navy spots (especially the Flares one). Pretty sure I bought a pair of them.'My personal favorite was the commercial for Big Pocket Jeans (remember those?) Pulling enormous objects out of those pockets? It made me believe: I got a pair.
