The second pose is better for a t-shirt design
I like more the second pose :)
Me likee MUCH the second one!
I really like the the first one. The second one.. If its on a shirt its leaning, its not going to have a nice balance. Maybe you could play around with the crazy jaw. Try a few versions of the first one. That would be my opinion.
The sentence loses its effect if he's already taking it off...but that might just be me. Agreed about the first pose being a little too weird.
Actually let me change my mind a bit. I like the ANGER in the second pose. It makes the joke clearer and the expression would probably appeal to a wider audience. So I guess... I'd take the action/direction of the first version for T-Shirt composition because its more straight up and down, it would fit nicely on the shirt. But I would try thinking about how the second expression gets the point across better with the expression on his face. I also, after second glance, found it much funnier because of that reason.
Shit I'm bad for not thinking things through and leaving live five hundred comments in a row but. I'd also like to mention the anticipation of the first pose is better than having the actual actual of the second. (Like he's ABOUT to take the belt off, versus he's already snapping it off. Which would be funnier in a cartoon but not in a single shot)
I thought that George's hands were actually in his pants in the first one
I like the second sketch the best. It has movement and a more intense emotion. I'd like to see a version of the shirt with no words (same with the Donald Bastard shirt), and an option to have the picture smaller and over the left chest. I think that would look sharp on a polo. Do they charge you to upload new designs? If not, I think a variety of layout options for each design would do wonders for sales.
I like the second one better. I'd buy that on a shirt.
I prefer the second one, personally.
Second one.Since I won't be the only one over-analyzing it: The first was definitely too weird. The second is more recognizable. Nobody is going to stand there and question whether he should be taking his belt off yet or not, and with it already snapped, the image is immediately related to the words.Although, I would take both if you sold them, but that's just me.
i like weird
The second design looks much stronger, although I miss the bulge from the first one.I think the second design will really work once you've got the letters arranged in a dynamic design around George. Punching the flying button into the foreground by having it overlap something would be killer.
Actually I just realized that there is a certain amount of volume in the jaw. What I meant is that the opposite edge of his mouth seems to have no relationship to the jaw. It should really stretch IN THE DIRECTION of the end of the jaw. I hope that makes sense.
Definitely the second!Donald Bastard is great too!
I also prefer the second one.
The first pose in my opinion has a lack of force and balance, the second one looks more natural and clear for a T Shirt design.
Second one is far better.
The secound pose is a great improvement. :)
the second one, the intensity of the text matches his face.
If being used for animation, start off with the first pose, then quickly switch two the second. If for a t-shirt, then the second one.
yeah the second one is really funny
Eschew Cognitive Dissonance.
I like the second one as well. I think it would appeal more to my friends who are not cartoon-oriented.
That boomerang jaw is so sexy.. take it of George, TAKE IT OFF! I honestly can't decide. I like the button ricocheting off of Georgie's pants in the second, but the amazing chin in the first lust makes me laugh and laugh. Dunno!
There's another one I'll buy from you when I'm down there.
The second is much better on a shirt, due to a lack of context. The first would work better for animation.
Maybe you could print the first pose on some men's briefs. Bulge on bulge.
second one is definitely better for a shirt design.
i'm not feeling the leg pose on either. i think they should be extended and george should be up on tippy toes in the second pose
If you ever get tired of working on this stuff, don't worry, looks like a few people are willing to take over for you
i like the second one. the first one, i don't get the jaw, and frankly, with the eyelashes and the smile, and that bulge? i..uhh...no.
The second pose is much better. It doesn't matter that he's already taking his belt off. He's already decided to beat you with it, and the warning is just a formality.
