Jetsons Scribbles

I scribbled these yesterday at breakfast. Sorry for the crummyness.
I'm working on posting some old story ideas I pitched way back when I worked on the show and artists weren't allowed to write stories.

They'll be on the HB site.

Damn, Mr. K., my best attempts to draw look a lot worse than your "scribbles." When it comes to draftsmanship, I'm a good... musicologist.

Just for the historical record, Mr. Spacely fired George Jetson 18,736 times, according to the U.S. Future Bureau of Statistics and the Hornblower-Kidder-Peabody Wall Street Commodities Futures Forecast for the 22nd Century.

It's too bad that "Journey To The Bottom Of The Pole" was never made— the concept is beautiful. It put me right on the floor, and I'm such a dour, resigned, stoical citizen that it's not easy to render me horizontal, laughing.

But there, you did.

Major Kudos! (U.S. Army, Retired)

did you charge anything at the comic con for caricatures?

If so you should make it a service where someone paypals you money and emails you their address and picture, then you can do your thing and mail it back.

I'd be up for that, since I can never make it to the con.... wah waah

Hi, Mr. K. is it possible to get some crits from 'bout my cartoon studies. I just dunno how to send it to You but I see you have this kind of label called 'critique', so I would be glad if You could visit my blog where I've uploaded the studies. :)

I remember seeing a drawing of Spacely signed by Mel Blanc. It read "JETSUN (sic) YOUR (sic) FIRED! Best Wishes, Mel Blanc"... loved Mel, but sort of embarrassing...

I love those techno whats-its poking out of George's Butt in the first one. Looks like boxers of the future have tracking devices built-in.
