Also, I tried to draw some Porky's with clearer poses, and line of action, AND I keyed out a short animation with Porky I'd like your opinion on:) If you got the time...

Hey, I'm doing the same tutorial for my Flash students for their final projects for next week! BG and character layout is a daunting challenge and almost NO ONE teaches it in schools. Animation schools are too feature oriented where this task is incorporated into workbook( which also isn't taught) and most of the jobs are in TV. It's called pre-vis in the 3D pipeline. So, instead of developing this skill in school, your egos are beaten by frustrated directors who are maligned to teach it to you on the job.

Eat it up while you can kids! As for you John, I'm sure all the directors of the industry will appreciate our collective efforts to teach this difficult aspect of the animation pipeline.
