Was this moment inspired by the Alice Cooper story about when he threw the chicken back into the crowd, it got ripped appart and the headlines said "Alice Cooper rips live chicken in half on stage" ?? I heard Frank Zappa thought it was brilliant. Speaking of which, I remember when somebody had the "unmidigatted audacity" to use Zappa as the voice of the pope in powdered toast man!! Ahhh, the good old days.
But I saw this exact part on MTV, I remember being disturbed by it. Maybe they cut it later, but it was shown at least once or twice in the original form (sans the Bjork rubber nipple part though, of course).
I'm not into the MTV thing. But! I had recently discovered, that you made this video. Wow! I'm now in the process of downloading this version, to see the chicken get ripped. This scene could have been used on Ripping Friends.
Ha. I believe it, easily. MTV is notorious for censorship lately. Which is funny, given their supposed message of rebellion, anarchy, and blatant irresponsibility. Also, they show Jersey Shore. Hypocrisy confirmed.
Maybe if the networks got a little more ballsy and had more cartoon animals being torn apart, the world would be a better place. Who knows?
Hm. I seemed to miss the frame where the skeleton pops out. Funny thing, a lot of those kinda visual gags (Including the one from Ren & Stimpy "In the Army.") Used to frighten me as a kid. Now I find them to be fascinating.

My favorite thing ever!
Yaay! Aaron Springer!
I have this video on my laptop, I love it. It would be awesome to have just a collection of animated music videos, they would ravish our minds

Mine too
was it cut 'cause we can see 'er panties?
Wow that's disturbing.
I love that ending and I never liked that they cut it. It was always a disappointment to see it end without the dismemberment.
The videos totally rock John. Thanks for making them.
Never woulda known. I haven't watched MTV since Beavis and Butthead went off the air.
Why would anyone think of or animate that?
Disappointed...very disappointed.
-Animal Right Hippie:(
A great group of videos! I've always loved that Björk one, and the chicken was always my favorite part. It always felt like a cap on the insanity.
John, did you do the "Tommy the Cat" video or am I getting that confused with "Harlem Shuffle"?
You can still sell it as an animated corporate identity to Foster Farms.

The first time I saw that video, my head exploded
MTV did the the same thing to Glenn Danzig when he ripped a chicken in half for his original Mother video from 89'
It is kind of disturbing how the chicken gets ripped apart via the pussy.
