Hey John, I've been reading your blog over and have been very inspired by your art. Especially your $100,000 lessons with Preston Blair, and I was wondering if I could get comments.

I hope you like what you see, and the second page will be up soon.
Speaking of good design on the last couple of posts, this Woody cartoon's got some of the best designs of all time, sad that it's become so hard to find:
It's Log, Log, it's big, it's heavy, it's wood. It's Log, Log, it's better than bad, it's good! Everyone wants a log! You're gonna love it, Log! Come on and get your log! Everyone needs a Log!"
When I said "what you've done" I was speaking generally about how George looks regardless of who draws him.
The cheeky smile and the buzzed haircut he has resembles my father these days. He's hit the big 50 quite a while ago and that old man rust is starting to hit him. OLD MAN
i was at target today and noticed that they are using the old designs for trix , lucky charms, and cinnamon toast crunch now. it was cool to see the old characters. they looked good.

George looks like my dad in cartoon form. What you've done is pure mind candy.

Sweet!

That's amazing.
Hey John, are you ready to get angry? Like, really angry?

He looks quite handsome, love the colors. Hooray for Kali!
Jordan, that news about Speedy Gonzales shows you how much this industry needs to change. I miss the good old days.
these make great pieces of art, a painting and natural border in one!

That's beautiful. Kali's such a heroine. She should manufacture her talent via syringe injection.
"It's better than bad, it's good!"
Sometimes life throws a curve. Imitate it with art.
Now that's manly.

Man, that Kali makes some great stuff. I bought one of her Devo girl prints and it rocks. Wish I could afford this.
This made me think of you when I found it. Check out the expressions on these figure skaters' faces:

@John I had a feeling.

Oh my god. This takes me back to an age where my mother forced me to paint on wooden slabs and rusty saw blades.
Beautiful work. But it makes me feel weird.

Oh! I just noticed too that the tree branches/grass extend beyond the painted background color.
I really love details like that.
