For some people, this post will definately make you their personal hero, working on lots of prestigious shows which apparently brought so much joy into their lifes.
So let's rejoice and bring on the 80's once again...
. . . and oddly enough this frame could be lifted from a current ad campaign for Trojan brand condoms. Condom Man (he's got the 'C' on the costume and everything).
So, John, tell us what it was like working with Chuck Lorre, the creator of such great shows like The Big Bang Theory and such crap shows like Dharma & Greg, Two & A Half Men, and... well, pretty much everything else he ever did.
It's one thing to deal with perfectionists who say: It's not good enough, try harder, do it over, make it better. That's the pain of a kiln: the fire that burns away your mediocrity. Certain unreasonable people with impossible standards make you better.
It's yet another thing to deal with people who say don't try so hard, don't be a perfectionist, it doesn't have to be art, it doesn't have to be good, don't work so hard, don't think so much, don't care, just grind it out ... I WANT CRAP!
Set an impossible goal, I'll try to meet it.
But the hardest thing to compete with in the world is mediocrity.
