Here's Mom and Dad with the first fruit of their loins. If only they knew what they had wrought. Soon they would be showering me with nutty mads and slimies.
Here's the sanest members of the family. For some reason, the womenfolk in my family are the calm rational ones. The men are volatile cossacks.
Look at that 50s movie star wedding!
More sanity!
Here's Mom and Dad with their all time favorite cartoon characters!
Happy birthday Mom and have lots more!Love

Your folks are adorable. Thanks so much for this blog by the way, it keeps me sane working in the crummy animation industry in Vancouver, Canada.
Cool. You're Mom and I have the same birthday. Happy Birthday, Mrs. K!
D'aww This is precious. Happy birthday Momma K!
Cool pictures, thanks for showing and sharing. Happy birthday to Mrs. K! :)
Happy Birthday, Ma'am.
John: love the shot of mom and sis (I'm guessing) standing in the yard together. Looks to be about mid-late sixites. They look wonderfully sane. Man, those slightly faded Kodachrome colors always make me homesick. -- Mykal
Awwwww, another sweet family moment courtesy of John K.
Happy Birthday to your mom. And while I'm on it, to Chris, too.
Happy birthday to your mother! She sure seems like the type who has something to say. How about sharing some of her wisdom to the rest of us?
Happy Birthday!
Nice pictures!
Happy Birthday, Mrs. K!
Happy Birthday, Mrs. K!
Thank you Mrs. K. for giving John some sanity so he could create a cartoon world of insanity.
Happy Birthday
Happy Birthday, Mrs. K!
Happy Birthday Mrs. Kricfalusi, and many more!
Yeah, your parents are cute.
Happy birthday Mrs. Kricfaulci, apparently the both of us share the same birthday with Michael Eisner! Lucky us!
Awesome! Happy Birthday to Mrs. K , must be the proudest mom ever! :)
Now that's something every boy should go through: finding out how good looking his mom was and what a massive righteous score his dad managed.
Gives one hope for the future, as a man.
Happy Bday Mrs.K, you have done a great work! ;))

Happy Birthday, Mrs. K! Thanks for giving this world one hell of a cartoon genius.
Happy Birthday to your Mom, John.
John, I don't mean to make you uncomfortable....but your Mom is pretty cute.
Wish her a good one for me.
P.S. - Your Dad's suit in the one where's she's sitting and writing something looks almost like some sort of official uniform, but with no regalia on it. Is it just a very differently fashioned regular coat?
What lovely photographs! Happy Birthday to Mrs. Kricfalusi! Thanks for bringing John into the world so he can share his thought-provoking insights with us. You must be very proud that his blog in itself is such a valuable contribution to aspiring cartoonists in the world.
May you have many more wonderful years to celebrate & enjoy your family.
That was very sweet.
"Hey ma, pop, get under Fred and Wilma... c'mon, yeah that's great ma! c'mon pop..."
"aw, jesus, John..."
"Okay now hold it!"...

Happy belated birthday Mrs.K! :-)
Awesome. I had a toy box with the Flintstones plastered on it as a kid. (late 70s-80s) This totally gave me the whoosh of memories. We had a whole toy room. Perfect for bouncing Super-balls, as we called them. Just wind up and let er fly, and hope the geometry was all worked out so you didn't get pelted with it.
This warmed my heart! Glad they created ya!
What a cutie!
Hi John!
The following is in no way meant to be disrespectful and i hope you can appreciate my find:
I just realised an uncanny similarity between your dad in uniform and the evil Nazi inspector in Inglorious Bastards (Christoph Waltz):
