Heartaches Pilot 8 - Fluff Balls

After being sent to her room without Springbok, Roxy sits on her bed and longs for her Curly Fuzz Poodle. Everything reminds her of him.Especially the little colorful balls of false Poodle fur he left behind.
She instinctively takes each dusty ball of fluff and sticks it to herself.
Her Dream Pets worry about her weakening faculties.
"This looks bad, man" says Mr. Pinky PooPig. Raspy Rhino agrees: "I've never seen her this bad."
The heartache is too much for the tiny lass to bear. She goes goofy. Just then we hear a scratch scratch scratching at the door and it creaks open. It's little pussycat!
He softly pads his way across her bed, bearing a gift of healing.
Completely insane now, Roxy absent-mindedly takes the offering of freshly caught water beetle.
The arthropod begs for his worthless filthy life. "Spare my filthy worthless life!", he pleads.
Roxy bites it's little crybaby head off, taking along its carapace.
A long night of listless chewing and bemoaning demon fate lies ahead as we fade out...

QUESTION:

I'm thinking of refreshing my t shirt offerings. How many folks would buy a Heartaches shirt if I made one?
I'll do it on a girl's t shirt cut; I know not too many guys would want one.

...I thought this was a cute, sweet story that you would (and could) never inject one of your famous "character-having-a-mental-breakdown" thingies into. I was wrong. But in a good way.

Maybe a limited run of guy t-shirts? I'd totally get one, it's way too adorable for even guys to refuse.

John K always makes the best mental-breakdown cartoons!

I love things randomly (and cartoonishly) come to life in your cartoons!

Like the stuffed toys here or how He-hog jumps out of the comicbook in an old George Liquor story.

Also a Kaspar t-shirt would be super. :-)

If I had the money, I would definitely buy one of your Heartaches shirts right away.

I was looking at Frazetta's comic book work the other day. I still can't believe he drew those when he was 20. Very solid posing and staging. Very sad that another great has left us. Just a few weeks before, Allen Swift died, and before that, Micahel Pataki.

The cockroach is going to feel disappointed for a month, but at least hypothetically he can laugh at some unfortunate beheaded mammals who place more importance for their heads. Guess Roxy isn't an expert at killing life forms even in her demented state. Must be that hippie gene.

I'm waiting for one Heartache cap sleeve to come in stock before making my decision. I usually like my short sleeves to be long, but this time I'm thinking about looking for something more feminine.

I don't know why I thought of this but just as a cute little joke when the cat walks across the bed you should have his claws tear up little pieces the covers XD

Wonderful art, love to see this finally continued.

Why don't you make a tribute to Frazetta on your next blog post?

I'll wear unwashed Heartaches shirts every single day for the rest of my life!
