I hope you're doing okay and that you're feeling well, John. It's always good to take a break once in a while from something like blogging which can get tiresome after a long period of time.
Hey John, your idea of a good animated feature would be something along the lines of the first two Popeye Color specials, right?
If that's the case, how would you make the plot be able to fit at least 60 minutes, without any "filler", and wouldn't an audience get annoyed or tired of an endless gagfest, regardless of how good the jokes are or how well structed and contrasted the use of them are-or is that just executive thinking snaking it's way into my head?
john you are a legend, only just found your blog while searching for cartoons and boom was brought to your page. Loved your work ever since the dawn of Ren and stimpy, glad your still making people laugh..
I miss you making me angry / making me think very hard about art. Come back soon and write something else so I can get back to seething and reconsidering things!
Have you seen the trailer for the new Looney Tunes show, or the promo images for Genndy Tartakovsky's new show Sym-Bionic Titan? They're both on Cartoon Brew and I'd love to hear your take on them
