Personally I never really liked Jack Kirby's style and his influence on action animation. Hey John what do you think of Moebius? I always thought his style had a lot of potential in animation considering he was heavily influenced by Windsor McKay.
I kinda did some warm-ups myself, if you can call them those. Alas, drawing Goofy in even one pose was hell for me. I always hated measuring his tall proportions and getting his silhouette to look right, but at the end, the overall drawing was well constructed and I didn't have the details eat through the silhouette. I wish my details weren't so lumpy and big, and I also wish there was something I could do about that.
Kirby is all about intensity. I read one of his Fourth World Omnibuses recently and I found my jaw was clenched the whole time. He ends almost every sentence with an exclamation point!
TedM: Joe Sinnott is my favorite inker of superhero comics. All time favorite. To my way of thinking, there's nobody around--ever--who was a better inker.

Nice!
I love that pose at the top of the fourth page.
Wow, great studies!!
These are great, I especially love the "no crotch" detail, never noticed that. Kirby's work never ceases to astound.
Wonderful work. Nice notes for body features! "^ NO CROTCH"
Very humorous design.
I just shat in my pants, laughing.
I've never seen anything funnier.
The big master, the guru!!!!. I'm on my knees right now :)
Those look pretty good! I love the second one.

At the instant I saw that second drawing I heard this manly voice inside my head, screaming "IT'S RIPPING TIME!" XD

Kirby punches you in the face with every panel.
Wow! These are great John!
Have you ever thought about giving Marvel a call? Or just working on your own comic book?
You should get Joe Sinnott to ink your Fantastic Kirby pictures.
