May I just say to all, R.I.P. Harvey Pekar. In a world of poor to mediocre cartoon writing, or "good" critically-acclaimed serious cartoon writing completely lacking in humor, Harvey was a breath of fresh air. He was a writer. He was a human. He will be missed.
I really like those last frames of Dennis' mom in the chair, and Margaret's irritated expression. I also like how the silhouettes are done too, not completely black.

Crisp and clean lines. Very good stuff.
Beautiful inking on these wonderful Dennis strips. I hope Ron is reading this, but I'd like to thank him for sharing these awesome drawings.

Thank you for sharing!
Flawless staging.
Came to leaven the joy of the pictures you put on with news that Gargoyles will be made into a non-animated picture.

Were there any DIC equivalences in the 40s, or was the average ten-year old a more competent drawer then?

Sweet stuff, thanks.
They look even better than the colored ones!
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
p.s. Where's the Dennis MILF's you promised? I was all set to...um...appreciate them.
They're wonderful! Thank you!
I really like his solid lines. I'm glad blogs like the your's help to keep what we used to like for.
Beautiful, just perfect!! I've been trying to find scans just like these for the past couple of days, for inspiration. Thanks, John!
