I really like this drawing! It really gets me wanting to make a shirt! I already have ideas too, and since I started trying to composition more I'd have only loved it more if you put it into some fancier shape.
Good Job JohnK! Give Kali all the dirty hugs you can!
awesome! more john k does marvel comics please!!!!! is this your first disney job? (btw... is the stussy scribble intentional? that's the only distracting thing for me) and where is it going to be for sale?
Excellent, now to add some Kirby wrinkles to his flaming shorts. Check out this research, forget creativity and originality! There's a formula for success! http://w4.stern.nyu.edu/news/docs/hui_scripts_5.6.2010.pdf
Nice work, JK! Now all we need is some producer to wake up, and give you and friends an opportunity to animate these! Hopefully not all the rights are tied up by Disney, especially for characters Jack K. created but never had animated!

In the flesh and color.
Is this going to be a Stussy shirt? Please make sure you tell us where to get one!
Very nice, reminds me of Jack Davis in "MAD".
Pretty cool!
One can definately see your Jack Kirby studies kicking in. The face details, the wrinkles...

Wow! Looks AWESOME!!

Ecch!!! Kirby and Severin (shades of Colan) would all be proud! Great job, except Johnny's right arm. Looks a little wonky.
Whoa! I can't even describe this in words. Marvel should be paying you a million dollars for that drawing alone, and Kali too. This is beyond awesome.
I have to say, the coloring on this is really really beautiful, and where I see the Kirby influence the most for some reason.
That's one mighty fine picture.
Cool Kirby tribute picture. Do have one of The Thing or Spider-Man?
