Enjoying the Kirby posts! Did you know he did inbetweens at Fleischer Studios for a bit? I remember an article in Wizard magazine on Kirby that printed some of his Popeye inbetweens.

Sweet. I also noticed that Kirby was really big on that line of action for such dynamic characters. Unbelievable.
It's amazing how much motion that conveys! It resembles rolling shutter errors you get sometimes with CMOS sensors.

The characters in Kirby's comics must have really loose groin muscles to be able to push their feet so far away from each other.
