John originally created My Little Ass as a commercial for REN AND STIMPY ADULT PARTY CARTOON, but there wasn't time to include it. He discussed the proposed idea in full detail, jingle and all!
The Fleischer's were imitating Disney during this period, with much less successful results. Its kind of pathetic how most studios tried imitating Disney in the late thirties and then finally decided to create their own unique brand.
