Thanks To Donators

Thanks to all these folks and I hope you are getting something out of it!
BTW, I have started my first private and semi private lessons. Rather than having one all-encompassing course that each student has to fit into, I am tailoring classes to the individual's needs and their stage of skill. If you live in the LA area and are interested, put a comment and a link to some of your work.

Classes would be no more than 2 or 3 students at a time.

If you don't live nearby, keep digging through these online lessons and tips. There's plenty for you to absorb here.

Too bad live so far away, however I will continue to exercise in the Cartoon College Blog.

Sorry for the lack of post in recent weeks, I've been very busy.

Thanks for everything you're teaching us John. It's very generous of you.

Anyway I can fly over for lessons in the future? Because if we could work something out for next summer I would love to!

John, will you be keeping up these private classes until the end of this year? I intend to travel to LA in order to attend to the private classes. Here's my work:

I also study figure drawing and I've had animation classes at college, covering only the basics of the basics. I think it will may be of some help.

Hi John, here is a link to my Curriculum lessons 1-7.

And here is a link to some work I’ve done with my own characters.

Thank you!

Your lessons (and blog) have been an invaluable reference to me over the past several years as I continue to educate myself in animation. Even though I rarely animate by hand (and even then I'm more often than not rotoscoping), it's all part of the same beast. I don't think I'd feel half as confident in my animation skills without your body of work and commentary. You're my favorite person on the interweb.

For serious (like serious serious), if you could find it in your heart to setup some sort of a week long workshop intensive, my ass would be on the plane to LA to take it. I have friends I could stay with and it would be no problem.

I'd pay top dollar!

Please think about it and get in touch if it would ever work out...
