trees

Hans Bacher did a series of posts on trees and I pulled some of my favorites.
ALl these have not only stylish and personal finishes, but bold and distinct form under the details.

Those are the most gorgous trees ever. I also love the different techniques in each painting.

The colors are also superb.

Hey John (and people who like cartoony cartoons),

Will you check out my latest comic? My strip, "Don't Let This Happen To You" got picked up by this site "The Rumpus", but I am there on a trial basis so please leave a comment if you like it!

Don't Let This Happen To You

many thanks and well wishes,
Elana

Nothing better than when you go out of the city and get inspired by nature.

Very nice composition of trees. It force me to be more observator to nature and life.

To Elena, i just seen your little comic and it's amazingly well drawn and good professionnalism to the poses. Very tight punch. I have some problems with add witty humor in my comic, so it can help if i break what i know from now. Thanks!

Well, Mr. K.... this an amazing "coincidence".
A few days ago I posted a comment on Hans' blog thanking him for taking reference to Sylvia Menendez's trees (because I admire her very much and well, she's my mother). Now you came in and talked about trees, you could've grabbed any other subject, but you chose trees! Thank you so much for the reference, and glad that more people get to know her work.

Un abrazo
