I've been thinking a lot about what you said one time, and I think you're right. People fear talent. The biggest celebrities in America are destined to be talentless freaks who serve as punchlines for talk show hosts and make people feel better about themselves rather than people who possess talent and make people feel inferior. It's a sad world :(
I think ultimately the problem must be a marketing one. The audience hasn't become less intelligent, the sales pitch has just aimed lower and lower over time and now all American culture is just an appeal to stupidity.
I immediately recognized Andy Griffith but the others are a little tricky. I agree w/ N. Eri, is that second head Mario Lopez? Cher 3rd? Its probably not her but the bottom female looks like the comedian Judy Tenuta. The other 2, you got me, but I'm so not up to date w/ celebrities.
Andy Griffith is top in talent, Snookie is bottom. Everybody else is inbetween.
Really, those are the only two I recognized, except I think maybe I saw Mario Lopez too. He'd be somewhere in the middle between the genius and the stupid orange-skinned whore.
I was going mainly by the poof hair-do and the big cheek sticking out on the opposite side. Now that I've looked at a search engine picture of Snooki I can see that I was WAY off.
I don't know of too many famous folks that wear that poof hair-do tho.
haha, being from England, I thought the Andy Griffith one was Prince Andrew ;)
as to the other ones, (apart from "amma let you speak in a minute" Kanye) I dunno... the one to the right of Andy Griffith is so familiar, he's on the tip of my tongue... and the one on the bottom reminds me of Jennifer Coolidge in "best in show"

The only one I can recongise is George Bush (I think...)
No president in there...
I would know for a fact that Snooki would be at the bottom.
Andy Griffith #1
Is that Hugh Laurie?
Kali is correct.

I'm also guessing Mario Lopez is in there too.

Kanye West looks like a UFC wrestler.
I thought they already were?
Andy deserves the top spot.
S.
Don't recognize any of the women but for the guys:
#1 Rashad Evans
#2 Andy Griffith
#3 Slater for Saved By The Bell
(if the guy at the bottom is actually Kanye West I might have to rethink)
Full agreement on andy Griffith as # 1. He is great in the film A Face In The Crowd!!!
Full agreement on Andy Griffith as # 1. He is amazing in the film A Face In The Crowd!!
The top right looks like a young Andy Griffith from his Mayberry days.
I of course (and unfortunately) recognize Snooki. I have no idea who the rest of those people are, and there's a part of me that doesn't want to know.
I don't care who the others are. Andy Griffith is the most talented on the page.

No Snooki

"Kali is correct."
That's totally going on my headstone!
Stupid me for not recognizing Andy Griffith.
The caricature on the bottom right is brilliant! But shame on me for not being able to recognize those people.
