Wow! you can't even tell that's a John K drawing! You've got a alot of variety in you!
Unrelated, but I read a funny Jack Kirby story(another John K, when you think about it. Wait, his real name was Jacob, not John...) that reminded of of something you said to me once.
In the 70s a new comic artist was taking over on Captain America, it might have been John Byrne, and he gave an interview wherein he vowed to do it in "the Jack Kirby tradition."
When Jack saw the interview he said "This kid doesn't get it. The Jack Kirby tradition is to do a new comic."
That reminded me of what you said about everything being done by rote nowadays.

How was this done? I know the drawing was done by John but how did you ink it? Using a tablet?
Yes I used a tablet. If you would like to know my particular process of inking and coloring i have a little video on my site for it.
