Now that I live in the LA area I am beginning to truly understand your contempt for present day Hollywood. Today I was a paid audience member on "Minute To Win It". I think it scarred me for life.
Wow... Me too I prefer raw sketches, they show some personality, either from the subject or the artist who made it. By the way, do you have some advices for beginner cartoonist? I make some cartoons in my spare time, like many other reader of this blog, examples of my work there: http://habscartoonshow.blogspot.com/ Again, great work!
Great stuffs like always. It's a abominable loop those today's Hollywood gossips.
Maybe off-topic, but i know you don't talk so much about French cartoonists but there's Gaston's father Andre Franquin who published in his local fame long before his death in 1997 a comic series of one-shots who show the dark side of humanity and deals with deaths, politics socials and everything who seems to be banned in mainstream comics nowadays, even in Europe. That makes Uderzo and Hergé's arts like boringness in comparaison.

This gags was made mostly in the 1980's for Fluide Glacial, France's MAD counterpart and you can feel the Don Martin's cynical humor style on it, but does it when Fraquin was in his darkest period. I know you like humanity in entertainment medium but it's the only one from i know who can do a comparable work in Europe than here in North America.

These raw sketches are my favorite. The lines have as much character as the actors and actresses. Boom!
HAHAHA, that Robert Pattinson is hilarious.
At least I'm guessing it's Robert Pattinson.

Wow, I am really out of the Hollywood loop. I don't know any of these people. Hooray for me!
Great drawings!
The big nosed one on the second page looks like Lady Elaine Fairchild, the creepiest of Mr. Rogers' puppets. :O
Nice drawings John!
