Great cartoon art, with appealing colors, and hilarious stories, with textured character personalities - when will those elements be brought back to cartoons, goddammit??? ...Hopefully they WILL be, if this show gets made! ..It would be a hit!
Ah yes, this character is great. I really enjoyed the "first fist" episode doodles. I read them all during school and laughed too hard, everyone else in the computer lab were giving me strange looks.
I'd definitely watch this. Bobby Bigloaf works as a character because he's based on one of the kinds of people you meet in the real world. In my opinion, the best fictional characters are ones that you can relate to either through yourself or through people you've met who are like them. That's part of why Spongebob is a success: he's the naive optimist who thinks everything is super great. I used to know a real Spongebob in 8th grade.
John, Donald Bastard MUST HAPPEN!!!!!!! Hollywood people (aka producers aka media moguls) must deposit huge dump truck loads of money to you... NOW (please?)
This would be ideal for "Adult Swim" or some other network trying to reach the adults-that-haven't-gown-up demographic. You know, the ones with money to spend on advertisers' stuff.
I'd LOVE to see a show w/ Bobby Bigloaf and the rest of the George Liquor gang. But sadly, who could voice George? Its a crime if these characters don't get a show, but atleast we'll always have "The Goddamn George Liquor Program" and "Pee-Boners", hehehehe...
I'm wondering, sir, what contemporary animated programing you enjoy? Do you like "The Boondocks"? The new "Beavis and Butt-head"? Any anime? Do you like any features of recent years? How about Miyazaki films? Do you like any of the DTV DC or Marvel animated films? Just wondering, thats all. Thanks for the blog, as always :) .
I think your cartoons are really crazy, but it inspires me I wonder if you realize your drawings to annoy the people that are unpleasant or because you really like that scatological things.
well thank you very much again for making me laugh so much
That Bobby Bigloaf seems like a very fun an colourful character. you don'nt need much imagination to see that. He's fun to draw too i tried to draw him a couple of times and its so fun to draw becouse its so well designed. hope we can see some moving images of bobby soon
Apparently, according to Elana via Facebook, commenting here is going to convince execs to greenlight this show. Somehow I doubt it - I'm not so sure they're reading. But count me in as a supporter.
MIA ANIMATION CONFERENCE & FESTIVAL will be holding a Pitching Contest as part of its Animation Festival. People from the "industry" are going to be there. Any tips on talking to these people? This will be my first time and I really don't know what to expect. I like the way you set up your pitches, I plan on doing the same! Thanks for the amazing blog.

Haha! Fantastic. Donald Bastard would fit in with something like the Viz comic characters. Is there a Daisey Bitch?
Wow cool! Hee you if you need an inker...
I have a drawn of Bobby in my room by you John. Its good like HOHO
Someone needs to do such a cartoon about America's youth who have been spoon-fed superheroes--a diet of hamburgers, comic books, and TV.
Haha, I can relate to Bobby very much. Men in colorful underpants are the shit!

Hey John, would there be any way to see Bobby on our screens or are the networks still being tight fisted about new ideas.
Would it be possible to make animations funded by the community?
