I have been wanting to try out this Kickstarter thing for awhile now and finally bit the bullet. I think it's the greatest idea ever (Kickstarter that is). If it works maybe we can create a totally new and streamlined way to bring entertaining to the audience without going through all the middlemen and bureaucracy of giant corporate monopolies.
This is our chance to help bring on the future. The fans can now be the actual producers! So whattaya say?
Produce "CANS WITHOUT LABELS" with me and win fabulous prizes while you are at it!
Check it all out here:

Count on ME :)!
So glad you're giving Kickstarter a try, John. I'm contributing, for sure. Great way to get around the headaches of pitching to people who don't get it.
BTW, I got ToonBoom Animate based on your recommendation and so far I love it!
I would be happy to donate but I don't have a credit card :(
Can I donate trough pay pal or something? I realy hope Kickstarter works for you.
In North Carolina we had the Piggly Wiggly. Much luck and good wishes...
Backed.
Good luck!!
This will work for sure! You always been loyal to your principals and fans. Kickstarter is a great way for all fans and "students" to show gratitude for all the wonderful laughs and lessons. Everyone should go on the twitters, facebooks, youtubes... and promote this. DO IT!
Pledged $50. We need to make this happen. Curious as to whether Michael Pataki recorded the dialogue years ago for this. I know he did a lot of George Liquor work that never saw the light of day.
I have virtually no experience in anything entertainment-related. I feel like a TV executive already!
Great video John! I liked the cute cereal mascot too.
I've got some extra money coming in these days, although I've spent some already on a Hanna-Barbera Knickerbocker toy (can you blame me?) but I'd be proud to support quality entertainment.
One question about the DVDs, do you know what region code they are or if they're region free? A lot of us foreigners might not be able to watch them in our homelands because of region codes.
I support this.
Watching the Video though, I kept thinking 'I would love a movie/educational DVD of the John K. / Spumco animation process.'
Surely you could make loads of money from revealing your secrets in a film/doc/instructor dvd set.
Would be great if you had someone videoing this project.
Spread the word! I get paid next week and that's the earliest I will have money. Count me in though :)
I kicked in $20. How can I not? It's John K!
Donated! And funny idea too :)
About time! Great idea for cartoon and sounded very funny, too. Donated, and I hope this will be succesful.
Wow! I Think i just became backer no. 200. I soo want this thing to happen!
Donated! Good luck John!
If ever get the money, I'll definitely donate! I wanna see some more new John K. cartoons. The world needs them.
Hey JOhn, for $100 do you get a George AND a Jimmy toy?

Good lick John! I know where my next pay check goes to :D
I've been dying to see new stuff from you.
I would love to help you animating, as I am an animator from Israel. You and Ren & Stimpy has always been a great inspiration for me. Let me know if I can help out.
Hi John, I submitted a storyboard a few weeks ago but I didn't put an active link to it so I'm not sure if you looked at it or not. I was hoping you could maybe just give me some quick feedback on it so I know where I could make improvements.
BTW I'm looking forward to Cans Without Labels. I threw in $30 towards it, hope it helps.
Thanks.
I did the scene where CFP gets fixed up:
Active LINK!
Hey John, when are we gonna see a post about TAAFI? C'mon man, yer old stomping ground throws a party for ya and we don't get no respect?! WE GAVE YOU BACON!!! (BTW, sorry for that humiliating display at the signing....seriously though, I had that dance worked out to good not to show it off. Heat of the moment, ya know....)
Nice metting you at Taafi and thanks for the Bacon! If only I had a credit Card, I'd have donated.
Biggest surprise in a while! Cant say I will donate because DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH KICKSTARTER DONATIONS COST THESE DAYS?? But I WILL be watching. Keep it up!
Dude, "how much Kickstarter donations cost these days"? Really? You don't have $1? This project takes donations of any size. Because it needs to happen. "Cans Without Labels" needs to happen for the future of cartoons.
I wish you all the luck in the world.
What is the form of distribution that you have planned for "Cans Without Labels"? Is this going to be only through DVD, or is it going on the internet, or TV? Do you have plans for a series? I'm really interested in the route you want to take for your projects.
