I found this interesting. This frame is from an early WB cartoon. about 1938. They were using construction then, but in a simpler way than they did by the 1940s. It's less organic, but still hierarchical.
I like Gerhard's step by step approach to studying the drawing.
The arm on the right should be going behind the back, which would be an easy fix.
