 How to do lip synch
 How to use separate layers
How to animate tricky character designs by using a construction layer
How to makea republican's eyes have weight.
How to eliminate pesky ex sheets and number torture
Oh and a pile of phone doodles are going out this and next week.

I'm an ocean-and-a-bit away from Burbank, but I'd love to know more about your inking process. I've always wondered about how to keep thick and thin lines consistent from frame to frame - I don't think enough people take advantage of using different kinds of lines.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but you draw character and background layouts on paper, and animate over them digitally? Or do you animate on paper and only ink and colour digitally?

Awesome! Is this going to be a panel or a booth? Or both?

See you there!

Will you record these lectures or at least post them on your blog? I know you have posted some strategies in inking in the past, but it would be interesting to see what you said at the conference. Have fun and good luck!

Can someone please make that crazy woman stop. Please, for the love of god. She's gone from sad to just plain offensive. What the hell is wrong with her?

Anyway, this CTN news is awesome. I agree that this NEEDS to be filmed and put on youtube, for the betterment of all mankind!

If it's a panel, CTN usually films all or most of the panels and puts them on their Vimeo page

If spambots can read other comments, interpret them and respond to them directly, and in context with citations, as Greenhorn has here time and again, then we really need to be afraid of the technology.

Go baby, get that cartoon made! Who loves ya!

Woah, This is awesome! What day(s) will you and the crew be there?

See ya there!

ok forgive my ignorance, but is CTN The Cartoon Network? Is this going to get pitched to them?

I am soooo jealous of anyone who is going to this.
Chances are I'd learn more with a day there than 2 years in college for animation. Which isn't going so well over here in London where they don't have any clue as to what a cartoon is anymore.

That sounds like fun! Bit of a trip for me though. I'll be sure to catch you again next time you're in Bristol!

Here's some more inkage!

I just figured out who greenhorn is. (It could be Mr. Krisfalusi in disguise-;!) Very rarely do I get offended at a blog post, but this one has crossed even my high threshold of tolerance.
The herd of angels following people during intercourse, the hateful obsession with others, that granny fell down because the nursing home help was being tortured by Madonna.
I prefer to think of this comment as Mr. Krusfalusi's brilliantly contrived sock puppet. He's always testing out the fans for new material.

You, sir, are a comic genius!

See, I feel better already.

Thank you.

I don't know if writing is that different than doodling???? I posted too many comments on here. I do love non traditional materials. I did do some screen captures of my comments so I could skim through. I threw some away. My feel from reading my comments is that I have an anger towards MEN. I have a folder on my Computer called "Scripts." I put my selected Blog comments inside within another folder. I try to organize. I noticed the term "Functioning" in the School Blog area. Environment is key to my "Functioning."
