The Hardcover Spumco Comic Collection is Out!

Hey folks

here it is, a hard cover collection of some of the comic books the Spumco crew drew back in the golden cartoony era of the 90s.

You can order it through Amazon with the link above, or go check it out at the local comic book store.

We included the heartwarming unpublished and infamous "Nutty The Friendly Dump" story too.

Thanks to that great comic collector, cartoonist and publisher Craig Yoe for making it happen!

I have a bunch more comics in my file cabinet so if this volume does well, we'll put together another package of 'em for you.

Happy happy happy joy joy joy! Are you going to have this available on Kindle too? I'm trying to save some money even though I also have Amazon Prime now, so I can have this delivered in two days for free.

Still can't wait for Cans Without Labels!

Hey John,

I was wondering, do you have some of those talking George Liquor toys left? Because if you do, I'd be really interested in buying one of them!

Also for some reason I tried to buy one of your t-shirts but the site keeps rejecting my credit card - I tried with several.

I ordered your book on amazon! Can't wait to read those comics!

Your fan,

Louis

I like how you cheated the piano leg to make the graphic really stand out.

Gee, Johnny, thanks for the post. I'm gonna break down to buy that book off of Amazon.com___in the B&N stores, it costs like $34.99!

Jeez, Mr Kricfalusi, I just loved the hell out of the drawings, designs, colors, and compositions of those comics, especially with Dirty Dog going "Huh? Huh? Whoodidat t'me?; I hope this compilation book goes well, so that you could do another volume with Jimmy's baby and your modern comic strip satires and parodies.

Your fan and protege,

Paul Christoforos

Just bought the book and it's awesome, great artwork all around!
As for the linework, how did you get such clean, fluid lines? Was this done with traditional pen brushes or digitally?

Got mine a week or so ago.. It only took a few days to arrive. Its absolutly beautiful! Thanks John! Please release more!

I just yesterday purchased this collection. I only had one concern so far. I understand the use of satire but maybe I don't understand the character. That being George Liquor's. More specifically the artistic merit of him using the word "fag" in the "Butcher Shop" story. I don't want to jump the gun and cry homophobe. So I thought I'd ask you about it. I'm not one for politics but I was kind of taken aback by it. I assume it's satirical criticism of such people in the vein of Stephen Colbert. But you never know.

I ordered it and it was great, though I was expecting a complete volume. I hope you can publish another one. Some kind of prologue would have been nice too.

I love these stories, I liked the cartoons with Jimmy and George but I think these comics have some of the best adventures with these characters.
