Watching that show makes me feel good!

What's striking about that Rootie Kazootie clip is the variety in appealing puppet designs that existed at one time. Don't get me wrong...the Muppets are great, but must every contemporary television puppet mimic what Jim Henson created?

Those kids at the beginning look... confused.

You're the best director of animation today! Your analysis and criticisms are perfect! Congratulations and a hug from your Brazilian fan!

What makes that man in the plaid shirt qualified to entertain children? His opening catch phrase, of course!

I'm a cartoonist and a puppeteer, and it's a natural intersection of creative impulses. I guess maybe cartoonists can intersect into "musical cartoonists" and "sculptural cartoonists". Interesting brain bubble...

The ROOTIE cast was made by the legendary King of Hand Puppets PAUL ASHLEY. He's the one holding Rootie in the cast shot.
This episode was written by Cosmo Allegrehetti, who went on to become Mister Moose & Bunny Rabbit on Captain Kangaroo.
