A Gift From Mike Fontanelli

Mike is Cartoon Toy King. He finds the greatest stuff ever. He found this treat on ebay.

This thing looks like it was designed by Jim Smith for The Ripping Friends.

How many kids do you think ended up with bloody mouths and lead poisoning from these fun implements?

On the box it says this is Dennis' friend Tommy. Ketcham should have drawn him like this in the comic strip!

I wish my mouth was full of these.

Well they sure don't make toys like they used to.

I want a Popeye Colonoscopy Kit for Christmas this year. Can you find me one Mike?

Holy poop on a stick. That thing is awesome, creepy, and really cool. Great find, I'm totally jealous.

The "patient head" should have been Mr. Wilson. Then it would've been perfect, eh?

Now THAT'S a nice toy! The old toy makers had a knack for creating a world inside a box. What a treat it must have been for the kid who first opened it!

Good god! This toy hurts just looking at it.
Though not as much as Popeye's huge hands would doing a polyp search!
Nice toy, Mike.

WOW,THANKS MOM AND DAD! now for my first patient, hey sis come here and open your mouth and close your eyes! this is gonna hurt you more than it hurts me!

Man my mouth hurts just looking at itand that wild looking dentist toture machine! Yikes!
Hope they included a little novacaine for Jr's hapless victim!

They'd never give the green light on a toy like that nowadays!

being a kid used to be fun once upon a time!

It wouldn't be Dennis' friend Tommy in that Popeye kit... It would be Poopdeck Pappy!

See ya

I like toys that add and element of danger. All these ultra-safe toys kids have these days keep natural selection from taking it's course!

I wish there were more toys that could kill me when I was a kid.

"Hey, guys, we have a few thousand extremely dangerous dentist sets for kids that nobody will buy, what should we do?"

"Oh, just slap some illustrations of Dennis the Menace on it and say that the decapitated head wearing a bowtie is Dennis' friend Tommy."

Reminds me a lot of the old version of "Crocodile Dentist", back when you used to pull the teeth out. But all the scared soccer moms & paranoid parents were afraid that kids would pull REAL alligators teeth out (when they got bored of pulling their brother's & sister's teeth out), so now you just push the teeth down like buttons. All that's left is a pussified version of what it once was: an awesome (yet slightly painful) children's game.

At least the Dennis the Menace version looks like something out of a really bad monster movie. I wouldn't be surprised if dads were probably borrowing/stealing the tools from their kids. What has the world come to?
