Did you draw this on a tablet? Can't wait for the break-down!- trevor.
wowI'm so excited!
Great first post can't wait for the detailed breakdowns.
Cool! Can't wait on the rest.
You have my attention now. Your how-to's are my favorite posts.I hear there are no surviving model sheets for Rocky and Bullwinkle. Good thing you're doing this!BTW what's happening with the George Liquor variety show? Did anyone bite yet?
Hi Trevoryeah, I drew it on a cintique. That's why it's all scratchy looking. But it was easier to separate each step into layers that way.
You're sheet says "Rocky is half the size of Bullwinkle". You should add, "he's half the size minus the antlers".
This sounds like another one of those great cartoon construction you typically post. Now I really want to draw...I never noticed that there actually was such a thing as a straight line of action until this post (I was drawing one of the Bullwinkle poses a couple of days ago. Now that I compare both of the poses, I notice that I drew the line of action slightly curved. In case you wanted to ask where the drawing is, it's posted on my blog). Same scenario with the perspective line on the hair.
This is SO awesome! I'm looking forward to the lessons, John! :)
I can't wait to see the construction of these characters because I just did a post of my first attempt at drawing Bullwinkle and I would like to learn more about their proportions.
Bravo! I can't wait to see the rest.
great, john!!we're all excited and wating for the next step!!can't wait!!!
....aaaaaand DONE! Check it out.http://rdrawblog1.blogspot.com/
Hey John,How about after you breakdown rocky and bullwinkle, you break down red hot riding hood? Since there's no model sheets of her anywhere!Jay
