Jeeezus Kee-RIST!!! John, These last couple of weeks of posts have been so amazing!!! It's so friggin' great to see your drawings again. There's been this void in animation since Spumco's been defunct that nobody's been able to fill. These few George drawings have more life, personality and character than the last decade's worth of cartoons!!! Thank Jeebus someone tossed you some moolah!!! AMAZING!!!

These are some of my favorite George drawings I've ever seen....absolutely beautiful stuff. I especially like the first one...if you take it out of context, he looks like he's rocking the fack out.

More please!

Every branch of the Bank of America needs to have this up on their wall.

Great stuff. I'm extremely busy at the moment but I'll try to ink some of those sketches or the ones in the previous posts. They're amazing.

WOW!!!!! OMG!!!!!

Amazing drawings! Just beautiful. This cartoon is going to be so awesome. When this comes out on DVD I will be the first in line to buy. Just like all of your other DVD's. I love your work John. Kudos to everyone you have on your staff too.

Great work!!

John, I've been trying to get in touch with you with this picture of you with Friz, Joe and Bill. See my blog entry here for the latest.

Cheers,

Please see my own blog entry about this historic interview.

I conducted this roundtable with John K. in 1998:

The only thing more amazing than the drawings is Art's cleanup job - smooth, weighty, damn near perfect. Wow. I love it.

these are some of the best drawings from the last 15 years that I've seen.

John, Do you use Chromacolour animation paper for George? I use their 23lb Prograde Plus.

I have to say that John's drawings are the most fun to clean up. They are such awesome roughs!

I had a lot of fun learning from these and trying hard not to mess them up in the process.

Madness!! This episode's gonna rock!! I love how exaggeratedly ( yes that's a word now ) obese that calf is! Its huge! And from the drawings looks like its really heavy!

That anticipation on the '5' layout is so good!! Wow, really inspiring!

I know this might be asking a lot, but i'd love to see a George liquor Model Sheet drawing sometime. *holds his toes crossed*

Well done on Ren and Stimpy, my first original and really funny experience on TV as lad in 1991. Happy Happy Joy Joy has been my mantra and prayer ever since. Surely inspirational to Simpsons, South Park et al - I still watch it most nights on Aussie Nickelodean. New drawings also look great.
