is that milk in a bag? i used to LOVE milk-in-a-bag when me and my family went to vist relatives in Vancouver!!! and Shreddies! and Licorice All-Sorts!!! and Altoids [well you can get them here now, but...] and and and and.....
sorry to be totally off-topic, but I am reading your blog daily and trying to improve drawing skills. I really appreciate your work here but I'm looking for some books for cartoon basics that you might recommend. In spite of all the great online resources I'm looking forward for some printed stuff. I hope you - or your readers :) - could help me out
That Wonder Woman picture is just disturbing. Really.
Dang, I thought you were just kidding around when you said "Drink A Bag of Milk". Didn't know it was a naturally occuring factor of the Canadian wilderness.
And I'm suprised that Genndy Tratakovsky's Star Wars amuses you. I thought you hated Star Wars.
silver hawks sticks, awesome! I know we're all about the old school greats here, but I'm a 80's kid and some thing were just so inspiring me even if they had there flaws and thunder cat and silver hawks were two to name a few.
That family dog model sheet is sweet, is there any more? That show had great animation in it's first and only season. Maybe it should have started crappy like most shows.
Puffy stickers are so 1980. What ever happened to them? I never see them anymore. They must have been full of fluorocarbons to increase their puffiness. Damn "Climate Change".
Based on the date, that looks like a model sheet from the original Family Dog short, which aired as part of "Amazing Stories," Steven Spielberg's weird little series on NBC. You can find it on video, I think When I first saw it at the age of, I think, 11, I flipped out at its sheer awesomeness; it's still a big favorite of mine, as is Brad Bird as a storyteller.
Is it sad that 'Bev' represents a step UP for me in terms of art skill?
And why am I thinking of dumping a shitload of Hersheys in that milk, turning it over and setting it up as an I.V.? When I want chocolate, I want it as fast as possible, damnit.
What is so weird about milk in a bag? Holy crap you people scare me some time... I'd rather live in a country where everyone drinks milk from a bag instead of wine from a box.
Also, John, did you try the new Diamond Shreddies? They're pretty good.
"Warner Bros is developing a live-action/animated hybrid big screen adaptation of the classic Hanna-Barbera cartoon Yogi Bear. Surf’s Up co-writer/director Ash Brannon has signed on to direct the project, which will be scripted by Tooth Fairy/Surviving Christmas scribes Joshua Sternin and Jeffrey Ventimilia. Like Chipmunks, the entire film will be shot live-action, with exception of Yogi, Boo-boo and the other creature characters will be computer animated."
In your satin tights, Fighting for your rights And the old Red, White and Blue.
Wonder Woman, Wonder Woman. Now the world is ready for you, and the wonders you can do.
She is so flexible, I think that show kept me from going gay. That is the exact position I would imagine her in when I watched the show, then she would pull her legs up into a V shape and ohhhhhh....
My beloved Ice cream bar, how I love your chocolate covering and your... Oh so creamy center. You like the same things I like. WE'RE NOT HITCHHIKING ANYMORE... WE'RE RIDING!
Only the original "Family Dog" was any good. It was animated in the USA by skilled artists and directed by Mr. Bird. The series, done without him, was crapped out in Taiwan and had the production value of dry heaves.

>>LMFAO! Sorry for the profanity...Hey mmmmmaybe that could be an idea for the next toy John comes out with? I'd plunk down some money for that...I put in a bid last March for a signed Lynda Carter autographed pic on ebay. ...Think of how much better in 3D...
hey john this may seem like a creepy question but, being a teenager, porno is everywhere and folks draw it. alot of them are really versed in life drawing. does that mean they could be a better animator than the norm?

Okay, most of that I've figured out, but what's the barber from?

I love you, John K.
Oh, man! That Wonder Woman shot just REEKS with suggestive imagery.
that's a neat angle for the wonder woman!

Wait, wait, wait...milk in a f**king bag? Where can I buy that? Strictly Canadian, I guess?
Wonder Woman cut-out...perverted.
And as for the shot of Star Wars sculpture...really? I understand you like Genndy Tratakovsky, but Star Wars? Really.
Either I'm high, or this is one of the best posts since your $100k Animation Lesson.

I love Yogi's goofy disposition in that photo.
No comment on Wonder Woman. Sheesh...
Is that wonder woman cutout a budget sex doll?
Just hearing about it's "Joint action" is making me hard.
the last main model is from Rock and Rule, isn it?
Is this a riddle?
- trevor.
By the way... I would be open to drinking fluids out of a bag.
Just not milk. I hate damn milk.

Hey John,
crazy....this is the second time in less than a month I have had a piece from my blog posted on yours! Do I have a new fan?!!!
Why does every "mom" model sheet since the 80s resemble Peg Bundy?
@ chip-
Because as far as today's generation is concerned, Katey Sagal is the original MILF.
That is some collection you got Mr K. Is there some connection between them that you are going to rant about soon?

Oh my lordy. Puffy stickers last for all of 5 minutes before they start to peel off.
And Family Dog ruled. I'm watching a segment on Youtube, and the animation for the dog is just adorable! I love the kicking legs.
The video game sucked though, I remember that much.
And the kid still scares the shit out of me.
P.S. Katey Segal was HOT.

It was also written by Animaniacs Writers.
Still think it's good?
