They look great! They're a perfect rendition of a single drawing, bringing it into 3 dimensions. Totally on-model. Nice smooth finish too. JohnK, do you know if these guys learned their sculpting in school?
Hi John. I've read that Ollie Johnston just passed away, sadly. Maybe you can write your own thoughts about him. I know you don't like DIsney that much, but I also know that you like any good animator, Disney's or not. Thanks.

now all you need is the GOOFY GREMLIN play-set(s)! "slappy happy sewer slide" "ogre mountain and booger king castle" and "gremlin swamp habitat"
*foaming at the mouth* Must have.....toys.
So when will these babies be available in the online store?

That blob with the cow head is funniest toy I've ever seen.
John, that yellow one with the pointy ears: did you use that in this poster?
Or is that a reworking of one of the gremlins from 'Russian Rhapsody'?

Is the final paint going to remain that shiny?
A gumball machine full of these would be pretty awesome!
Why does Christmas have to be so far away?
I'd love to see a video of these things getting made. I know nothing about sculpting, but would like to be able to do stuff like this.
Think that can be arranged?
Waaxy!
I wonder if it was difficult to get them all to stand still for this group photo? They look like such a lively bunch...

So when will these be in stores???
Gotta collect them all!
Awesome! Although they look more like bizarre bacteria than Gremlins, I approve wholeheartedly!
I love the token hottie gremlin there amongst all the mutant freakshow gremlins.

You should make one of them an ultra-rare edition and put these things in cereal boxes.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned Ollie Johnston's death. I wonder what he thought about Pixar.

PS: Anyone have any Ollie Johnston or 'Nine Old Men' stories?
Trevor: Mike Barrier.com vistor,Terry Guy, sent Mike a picture of Ollie,Bob Clampett, and Sody Clampett.
I want! I want! I want!
Cool,
I'll answer a couple of those questions:
Jorge, that's just semi-gloss paint, the camera flash made it look more shiny than they are.
Dan! Youtube sculpting, there's a good one on making a baby head, short quick and precise, pretty much the technique I use.
Miles, no school for me, self taught, trial and error.
Those are really cool!
They look like they must have lived near Chernobyl!
So when will we see these on ebay? lol
