If you got a caricature, put it up on your blog or site and send me a link in the comments and I'll tell everyone what good sports you were.

Yes, the ever creative Eddie has discovered a new art for his drawing-challenged cartoon-writer friends.
Eddie would stand behind me while I caricatured people and Eddie would describe people's faces to them-like this.
"You look like you have a dead squirrel on your head, with its intestines falling out."
Well now, thanks to Eddie there is no longer any need for artists anymore. The writers can do it all!

I just wanted to say: John K you're a badass
I would have been there, but I live 1000+ miles away :(.
I wasn't at the show. I live in West Virginia, so I couldn't make it to California.
Hey, John, made you some more of George, I think these are better than the last ones: http://sabadomorto.blogspot.com/2008/05/some-more-of-george.html
Sorry I can't fix the links, they're kinda messy.
Hugs from south america!!
Hi John! Here's my caricature!

PS: Seriously.
Hi John! Here are some story boards I made last night. I used your last blog post about boarding for the dialogue. I know these are a bit off model, but I really wanted to focus on the acting and the expressions. It ended up being 20 pages, I didn't intend for them to be this long, but once I started, I couldn't stop. I decided to bring Jimmy in halfway through and just decided to keep going to make it funnier. I think I got better at drawing George as I went along and he was actually a genuinely fun character to draw. I watched "Man's Best Friend" and "Dog Show" eps of Ren & Stimpy and thumbed through the old Spumco Comic books for inspiration. I didn't want to copy any of the expressions directly because I remember you saying he doesn't repeat expressions. Hope you like 'em. I would love to work on this show with you. No for the art, not for the money, but for God-fearing Republicans!
Story boards can all be seen right here.
John K. is the man !
As if we didn't know this already...
John sat from 10am to 6 pm,
humbly and kindly doing caricatures for ever fan that sat for him..!
WoW ! How freaking cool is that !!!
I know what i would look like in a John K. cartoon now !!!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
You made my week... ;)
Check my avatar for yesterday's drawing..
p.s.

I think it took about a minute, beard hairs and all. At that rate, I wouldn't be surprised if he did like 600 of these. It was priceless to see him work so gesturally yet so accurately in complex facial features.
Hey John, what type of marker were you using? And were you able to escape alive? you had a line even after most vendors had packed up!
Well now, thanks to Eddie there is no longer any need for artists anymore. The writers can do it all!
Thanks, Eddie. Really. That's just great.
This is totally irrelevant to the post, so if you don't post it, I won't be offended. But you make this point all the time, so when I saw it I thought of this blog. I saw this quote today:
" When Alexander the Great visited Diogenes and asked whether he could do anything for the famed teacher, Diogenes replied: 'Only stand out of my light.' Perhaps some day we shall know how to heighten creativity. Until then, one of the best things we can do for creative men and women is to stand out of their light." -- John W. Gardner
Just had to share!
Hey, not bad! How the hell did Eddie come up with a description like that? Oh, right - he works for you and he's completely nuts (in a good way).
had a chance to work on george today!
take a peek!
Here you go man! I reeeally hope you made me uglier than I already am:)

My caricature!
Thanks John! It was awesome to meet you!
Those are wicked!
I'm trying to get down some Sody faces. All my George drawings looked good, but sadly when I overlayed them... they weren't great when lined up with yours.

I also did a cleanup of one of your George shirt sketches too!
Well yeah. But..... Eddie's just a genious, anyway.
Besides, he's more than proven himself as a visual artist. Now he's on to take over YouTube.

I wasn't at the show, but I can post the caricature you did of me. Complete with unwanted hair and pustulating neck acne!
I would have been there if I wasn't on the EAST COAST! Great stuff and thanks for the comment. I posted a new ink of one of your Rakatu George sketches and some adjustments to the previous George that I inked. Thanks!

Family Guy creator hits a 100 million dollar deal.
Hey john...
what the hell pen or marker did you use to draw these wonderful caricatures?
Oh Man, I feel terrible! I didn't mean to insult anyone. I was commenting on what the drawings looked like, not the people.
My apologies to people I inadvertantly insulted, and a special apology to Frank for being such a nice guy about it.
Thanks John! You brought your A game and captured me in the most offensive of ways. I think I may need therapy now. Can I send you the bill? :P

If I'm being honest, my caricature could very well be the most bland of the bunch. I guess I'm either a boring looking person or John had to go pee-pee. Whatever the case, getting this caricature made my week and then some! Thanks John!

My bf really looks up to you. How would I go about getting one of those of him with out going to a fancy show?
