I just came across this post again, and it occurred to me that your use of the word "thrills" -both here and as in "Cartoon Thrills"- is pretty inspired and original. Not that it wouldn't apply anyway, but it just stirkes me as a potential subtle shift in usage. Usually in this context someone would just say "fun" or something really dry - "here is a rather amusing anecdote blah blah blah..." I can just picture people embracing this - PERSON WHO JUST BOUGHT AN ATTRACTIVE PAIR OF SOCKS: "Hey everybody, wanna see some sock thrills?" EVERYBODY: Yeah!!!!!"
