Ah yes, the infamous "coke sniffing" scene which got the show cancelled. I love those Kirk Douglas drawings.

You turned me onto Kirk Douglas about a year ago or so and I've since been slowly going through his movies. He's entertaining to watch and each scene he is in is much more entertaining than the ones he's not in.
It's kind of amazing to me that nobody else thought to use more varied human emoting in their cartoons before. Why do you suppose this is? I though animators use to look in mirrors to try to capture their varied facial expressions.

By the way, do you have the clip those Mighty Mouse pictures of Kirk Douglas are from? It would be fun to see you interpreted his acting.

Thank you

well unfortunately I didn't get to interpret his acting so much in that cartoon, and I will explain why in the next post

Who would have thought Kirk Douglas had a furry fetish?

I was wondering why his voice wasn't Kirk Douglas when I saw that cartoon.

Did you ever meet Kirk John? Does he know about his likeness in Mighty Mouse/ Powdered Toast Man?

I don't get why Mighty Mouse is snorting shit. You must have known you were gonna get in trouble for that. Was it worth it?
Off topic: I roughed out bosko's entire dance. I will clean it up as soon as I can

I met Ralph Bakshi one time. He told me (like in an old interview) that you owe him a show for making Mighty Mouse snort that flower. I laughed so hard after that.

1.)No, it's the essence of the flower which reminded Mighty of the girl and renewed his resolve.
2.)I'll never forget the last episode, they took a bunch of vintage/classic Mighty Mouse episodes, cut and pasted them up and set it to music.
3.)Man, even Pee Wee's Playhouse got canned shortly after TNAMM was gone. The two best shows on Saturday Morning television ever.

lastangelman: I know it wasn't coke so that is why I put "coke sniffing" in quotations. The jackass who claimed it was, Reverend Donald Wildmon, got the show cancelled.
