Kali's Xmas Wishes

May God bless all cartoonists with Kali's talent.
May Santa bring the gift of tongue to every tree.
and leave a vintage dusty old Knickerbocker toy in his own used sock for every child who craves love from the inanimate denzions of the earth.
Blessed be even the bipolar of all nations, genders and social strata.Grant a downy coat of cuteness to all torturers of the weakFrame every child with a balance of warmth and discipline.
May we all get along in peace, harmony and mutual tolerance.

Let us all believe in a variety of lesser Gods and decorate pagan rites with graven images of them.Let all hippies be spray painted green and pray for a second eye to be found under all his hair.
Oh and lastly, may every marker that runs out of color halfway through a picture be damned to eternal and everlasting torments.

Oh, John, I forgot to wish you a Merry Christmas!

So, uh, Merry Christmas! And the card by Kali is awesome, but I guess most people already know that...

Hey, John, I know this isn't a request blog, but can I ask you to make a post about cartoon voice actors? I'm really interested to know more about that... last night I went through youtube finding clips from 90's disney movies (nostalgia! I know they have tons of mistakes but I'm young, can't help it...) and I laughed my ass off at the original english versions. Most of the voice acting in those movies seemed to be done by stoned people, it had practically no life or personality, and that's something that doesn't tend to happen in Latin America, because the dubs here are made by professional voice actors instead of professional live action actors.
I mean, compare this song:

To this one:

Even if it's a different language, it's easy to see the difference. The spanish one is a lot more lively and fun!

As I said, I really want to hear your oppinions on the matter. Spumco shows always had terrific voice acting, and I wish to read more about it.

Happy Holidays from Chile!

I know this is out place and I don't know how old the cartoon cave post is about flash sucking. But this might change your mind http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/520604. P.s go see Sita Sings The Blues. Micheal Barrier, the two guys that run cartoon brew like it and you seem to share lot of the same opinions with them. Merry Christmas and a happy New year. Also make the flash hater on cartoon cave see them too.

Cristian Avendaño said...

Lovetta, John doesn't "hate" flash, or at least I've never seen that attitude from him. He's used it in many projects too.

He hates the fact that most (remember, Most) people only move papercuts on the screen instead of, you know, drawing and being creative and having fun.

I didn't make this! John made it for me! This is all John!

I Wasn't talking about John i was talking about the guy who runs cartoon cave. I found a decent flash did you or anyone watch it? It's quite good but can't compete with Pinocchio nor Bambi. But it sure beats the hell out Cartoons like Johnny Test, Total Drama Island and anything els that looks like glass. Please watch and tell me want you think John K. I recommend it to anyone els to watch not the greatest thing in the world but beats television animation by a mile.

Sorry, I meant FOR Kali. It slipped.
